While there is a lot I disagree on with what you wrote above, I agree that IK in general is liked by people here. The like however comes from his cricketing prowess, and Pakistani cricket team back then had a positive image due it's victories too.Indians actually like IK.
It's Modi who doesn't like him, he knows IK is a stronger and more charismatic character compared to him. That's why he likes a Sharif or Zardari in power because these are little rat like corrupt vermin he can look down to. That's why I think PPP and PMLN are in cahoots with the Indians because the global media immediately attacked IK.
Can you imagine a philanthropic former world class athlete with a track record of providing free cancer care to the poor and schools takes over a 3rd world country. It would have been celebrated had it not been for Sharifs and Zardaris along with Modi paying off the global media to print negative news on him.
The balakot strikes happened to destabilize Khan's government, it was very deliberate. Is India doing anything now? All quiet since PDM took control. I keep repeating myself about this but nobody takes notice. How deep is Pakistan compromised inside? If Sharifs and Zardaris are compromised, then so is the army?
When the balakot strikes happened, why did they let the Indian jets have a clean journey to their target? Did they want it to happen so Khan's govt is rocked? The missile that crash landed right at the end of IK's tenure? Again another deliberate act. Something does not smell right.
A high impact leader abruptly removed after posting encouraging metrics in challenging economic downturn and covid times. Pakistani politicians compromised by the enemy?
This is all high treason. The Pakistani public are fools, they are taking it. Held hostage by a compromised elite and they are all sitting back and watching the country drown. Who knows what else they have prepared for you.
Am sure people appreciate the good things he did for people of Pakistan too, and why not as philanthropic people anywhere should be appreciated for it. Shows the good side of them.
I am not sure of what you meant by, IK is stronger than Modi etc. In the role of leading a country, it's the results one produces that count at the end of the day. Contrary to what people think, BJP and Modi came to power due to Congress's corruption exploits (and not due to rise of Hindutva to be exact).
So far they have made sure, there is no corruption at high levels like it happened in Congress rule. Indian economy on the whole is growing, and globally India's stature under Modi's leadership has strengthened well. Our relations with Middle East has gotten so strong, and we are now able to access many technologies from the West. There are many criticisms of Modi Govt on other issues, but on the whole they have a 60/40 positive/negative score card dare I say and no corruption at high levels.
As long as they stay this course, and Congress digs itself further by opposing Modi and not presenting a alternative, Modi and BJP's third win is secure.
IK on the other hand proved himself to be politically inept, and I say this with responsibility and not any hatred to him or Pakistan. He should have anticipated the googly he got once he entered politics, and any excuses of him being too nice or naive don't count. As a politician in this day and age (or any for that matter), you have to keep an eye on Opposition too. That's something a successful politician has to learn, and there is no giving of a decade by opposition.
Based on above little analysis from what little knowledge I have, I feel Modi has proven himself to be smarter and stronger, political acumen wise compared to the charismatic IK.
