Why Russia Is Getting Closer To Pakistan And Abandoning India?

tell me how useful would that be against Chinese or Pakistani missiles and MIRVs traveling at 20 times the speed of sound. you think russia is giving it to protect you? No. They're just taking your cash by giving you something that is utterly ineffective against our missiles!

Okay so S-400 is garbage, i give up.

poor muslim ???? mr kalam ?? fuddu he was the president and eminent scientist of Bharat . too Bc abhi bhi 1200 soo sall porani soch rakhta hai /
you do realize that mr kalam's faith has been doubted by many; a lot of people suspect that he maybe a qadiyani and not a muslim since he never openly expressed his views ghulam mirza qadiyani. just sayin'.

America has been a curse to Pakistan.

abbay yar where have you been. that's the wink wink nod nod between russia and China. China knows russia needs the money and russia knows that China would veto anything related to india. China took care of russia while russia took care of its pockets. india STILL lost out in the end. Notice, how russia didn't lift a finger to convince China to support the indian stance.

if that doesn't tell you where Russia's policy truly lays then I'm afraid you would buy beach front property in arizona in a heart beat (your visa permitting of course)!

soch samajh kay baat kia karo.

Bless your heart!
I like your approach of thinking this is your galli Chhap friends making some side deals.
International relations don't work like that my naive little friend!
Russia has dealings with china and India. It has a lot to gain from both and a lot to lose by losing either of them.

And why is it Russia's task to convince china of anything?! Russia is friends with both countries and not at the cost of each other. Russia threw their vote for banning azhar and that is all that is expected from them.
Why are you imposing your ideas of expectation in a relationship and imposing it on india? We don't need such gestures to be convinced of their friendship and loyalty. Simple!

Still don't understand how india lost?
Was it by Russia pumping 12 billion in india(1/4th approx of CPEC) in oct last year ?!

I never said its garbage. it just can't stop anything going at 20 times the speed of sound or above. Right now, no missile can, even THAAD can't. That's all. S400s are very effective against slower missiles and aircrafts. Never doubted that.

And how does that make a difference to Indians? Indians have no problems with Muslims or considering ahmadis as Muslims. We are a secular country and in religion we believe to each his own!

simple; a true ally always convinces other powers to take his side. But russia didn't. That's a classic shrug in diplomatic circles. Basically that's Russia telling india that yeah I tried but didn't work out, oh well. if you can't understand this basic concept of how cruel diplomacy can be then I'm afraid you have much to learn little grasshoppa!

uh, that also shows that you next to nothing about muslims in your own country. The entire storm to declare qadiyanis as nonmuslims started from india, spread to Pakistan and then the middle east and then the rest of the Muslim world. Muslims in india don't consider qadiyanis as muslims by any stretch of the imagination.

Going by your logic lets say china shrugged you when it supported india's bid for waiver in NSG. Also did not made any case for pakistan during that time.

Nor did china was any help when india divided pakistan into 2 in 1971.

Not everything is black and white my friend, lot of it is grey.

you do realize that China is actually blocking you nsg, don't ya? in 1971, China was under a military confrontation with the u.s.s.r. itself and wasnt strong enough. different story today buddy.

So if we use your logic, then by supporting Indias ban on azhar, Russia dissed the Chinese by not supporting their stance! In diplomatic circles they call it giving china the middle finger no?!

Anyways You are entitled to your views, but we have our own approach when it comes to diplomacy. Pakistanis have always been emotional creatures that read way too into situations instead of thinking pragmatically. Pakistan is new at this and will eventually learn.

In the meantime, our relations with Russia will remain strong as ever until they give us a reason to think otherwise. No amount of "analysis" of diplomatic signs will convince us otherwise.

Remind me again how many ahmadis were killed in India due to sectarian violence in the last decade?!
Whether the Muslims of India consider ahmadis Muslims or not, the Indian constitution protects them both. So it is irrelevant to india. It does apply to Muslim countries where this sectarian difference defines politics.

America has been a curse to Pakistan.

Please don't say that about our allies before our non-friends the nice Indian people.

Have they not told you at home not to air grievances about your family matters to outsiders and specially your non friends like these nice Indian peoples. They are already trying to wedge a divide between us and have been for decades now. The US and the west is our family , they follow the religion of Ibrahim RA and they are similar to us in every way. We even have white , blonde , blue eyed people in North of Pakistan and even in Balochistan and NWFP . Our allies have been a source of blessing for us and if any are misguided may they be rightly guided.
