I could not find any figures from the sources you mentioned. When googling, I came up with these :-

The status of Indian Muslims are below the conditions of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.


The overall percentage of Muslims in bureaucracy in India is just 2.5 % whereas Muslims constitute above 14% of Indian population.[9]

I know you guys like to think of yourselves as a supa dupa pawa but c'mon man, take a trip back to planet Earth, even if it's just a vacation.

That's a load of Bull. Are there any ordinary People who went on to make it big in the fields of sciences/Technology/politics/Arts etc?

You people compare the so called elite Pakistanis with Average Muslim in India. Do it with ordinary Pakistanis. you will notice the difference. Say, a family that has no Land owning/Education prior to formation of Pakistan with similar ones in India. Even though, the much of the Muslim elite left for Pakistan, common Muslim in India neither felt the lack of leadership nor the lack of opportunities. They are represented disproportionately more in the unorganised sector and Trading and retailing of certain goods and make more money than their non Muslim counter parts with similar education levels/asset owning. And all the Muslim sects feel secure compared to that of Pakistan. Talk to the Shias on either side and see who feels secure about their future prospects of well being. Talk to those "liberal/Progressive" Muslims who thank Allah that their ancestors chose to stay in India. Only a person who closed his eyes to not see the truth would make a comment that India Muslims are worse off than Pakistanis or Bangladeshi.

My initial claim of Indian Muslims having higher literacy than Pakistani Muslims still stands, and the Rusty troll talking about how Muslims dont get education in India is proven false.

That is a separate claim you are making now, which I never claimed, one comparing income/poverty that is.

However, if you can provide me with accurate links on income levels of Indian Muslims vs Pakistani Muslims(like I did), you can message me (or post on this thread, but I am leaving for today so highly doubt I will see it as I dont think I will come back to this thread tomorrow).

And this relates all of the things I talked. I am not making any claim. I merely copied a qoute from the report you were refering to.. Which proves that Indian Muslim lag behind other people in India, in litracy, jobs, etc.

I dont have figures on income levels. I am still convinced of a general perception about Indian Muslims in India.. to whom no statistics have proved wrong so far.

what a shame! They could have give those qurans to a Paper recycling unit which can put those to good use like supplying note books to underprivileged children etc., This is barbaric.

On the Gujarat Photo, actually I am blown off by the appetite for consuming media content projecting Victims of Muslims by non-muslims and absolute dismissal of anything that involves Muslim on non-muslim crimes or Muslim on Muslim crimes.

Always remember, before bringing up Deaths of Muslims in the Hands of non-Muslims, please take note of the other side. you know gujarat riots had more than 250 non Muslim victims as well, which includes the actual arson attack by the Muslim Youth that to lead the riots(which might appear small compared to 750 Muslims but 250 is not small number). I don't know what they write in Pakistani Papers but, seems they don't report non-Muslim causalities in Islamic Republics which might cause any effect on despising the non-muslims for their crimes against Muslims.

Muslims do look for a conflict rather than reconciliation.
