Hi All,

In recent tour of PM to USA , In white house international media asked him a lot of questions. Why in Pakistan there is no such session? Why Pakistani media always stay silent on American's Blatant Violations of Human Rights?
Like we had Pompeo visit... I wish our media ask him about his Lectures which he delivers to different countries on behalf of USA... ?

. .
Our governments also dont ask anything from Usa.they just do what usa ask.

.
Better question will be, are our journalists even capable of asking question can they even speak English i mean fluent English. You don't want journalists who during interview start doing aaaaahhhh ooooooooo aaaaa let me read my perchi . Only guys i know who can speak good english are Moeed Pirzada and Wajahat Saeed Khan

There are few reasons.

1- The utmost is the lack of English language exposure of most of Pakistani mainstream journalists. They cannot ask questions, because they would get exposed.

2- Secondly, usually once you ask the first question, you follow it up depending on the response, once again, the required English level proficiency is the problem.

3- Pakistani media is disgustingly unprofessional. Have you not noticed what kind of questions they ask from corrupt Butts and Zardaris!!

Pakistani media is like a harlot, selling itself for money and benefits.

With due Respect, I think its not the case at all. English Language is not the barrier. What i think is Our Media is totally sold whether its due to westerns investments or we see investments in media from Riaz Malik,Sharifs & Zardari Type of people which controls media. They don't have that will to ask questions from these people (from Zardari,Nawaz or Malik Riaz) how they will go against their western investments by asking questions from the leaders of west?
This is so complicated that what we call this situation. Can we say it that "Our media is not free" But saying that narrative will be like "Media is not free in Pakistan" Like someone in the Govt. or Army is controlling but they dont know that Media sold itself to Rich People in & outside of country.

I agree to this Answer....

I've watched his video... He says In Pakistan media only plays part of 10% which i disagree... In this video he has defended media involvement in destruction of Pakistan...
A saw a video in which he talked about "How media Exploited minds of people" in previous generations. Like our Father , Forefathers... that time he told about more than 80-90% are exploited by Electronic media.. 10% Gets information correctly by doing research.

May be it is deficit of trust or we are taught not to raise voice, talking to our masters. Even in the toughest situations like Raymond Davis or Salalah...

.
The money they pocket to undermine the state would stop.

Would our establishment allow the journalist to ask the critical questions to their masters??

generally he is on the right track... two things

1) Laffas : Najim Seths etc competent but clearly they are working on a agenda

2) Incompetence: The quality of journalism is embarrassing low... they dont do research, cant apply and vomit stated positions. Command of english is secondary.. a very opinion based media rather than a fact based.
