The struggle for Syrian refugees in Lebanon continues
Syrian refugees who live in the Arsal region of Lebanon without any basic needs and struggle with the harsh winter conditions are waiting for help.

Almost a million Syrian refugees trying to survive Lebanon that fleeing the civil war in their country have not been able to find a solution to their problems, even though they have been voicing to the international community for years.
While freezing colds are experienced in the region, the shortage of fuel and the roads being blocked due to snow prevent the Syrians from continuing their daily lives.
Awareness and Consolation Association Director Muhammed Yahya said to AA correspondent, "There is a serious lack of heater and food in the Arsal camp. The situation is very tragic."
Pointing out that a total of 60 thousand Syrian refugees live in 120 camps in the region, Yahya stressed that the humanitarian crisis is far above the capacity of charities.
Yahya said, "aid NGO organizations from Turkey had made before then help to Arsalan camp. Now again made preparations for the commencement of the aid program in Turkey."
That they work in coordination with associations of aid organizations from Turkey, as well as medical assistance and shelter repair work carried out, stressing that the establishment of such tents.

I don’t think we should send aid to Afghanistan either, since the Afghan government and media refuse to do anything but vilify Pakistan and promote hatred against it.
But in that vein, outside of minimal relief supplies, we can’t afford to support these other conflict ridden countries. We still have to rehabilitate the Tribal areas and there are more than enough poverty stricken, poor and hungry people across Pakistan that could use that aid.
Sorry, we need to put Pakistanis first.That is the proper thing for the Pakistani leadership to do.
Relief supplies organized & collected in Pakistan by private organizations have also been sent to Syria.
They deserved it.

Again, poor, destitute & suffering citizens of Pakistan are also, in many cases, Muslims that need help. The government’s responsibility is to its citizens first.

Not really, Pakistan recently reaffirmed its stance on Palestine which is one of several things creating rifts with its ally Saudia. Jerusalem issue is probably the focal point for the Turkey-Malaysia-Pakistan conference.
