Why most of muslims afraid of discussing their religion? ?

If any muslims refuse to debate it’s because they might jot have good talking about religion ways, lack much knowledge, don’t simply know how to debate about religion. It doesnt mean anything. Not all laymen have good deeni knowledge or wisdom to preach well out in the open to anyone. Some would just prefer to followers and not doers as same as in any communities.

I dont trust on these youtube videos. They all are same like Dr. Zakir Naik , he used to ran a scripted show. These people put only only selected questions.

Muslims discuss their religion more than anyone but only within their community.
They dont discuss much with non muslims scholars.

Muslims discuss it with non muslims daily in parts of London. Many muslim scolars discussed topics with christian and hindu scholars and owned them badly.

Why would a laymen musalman speak to a scholar of another religion for a debate about religion? It would he scholar to scholar - wouldn’t it?

I just want to ask a legal question.

I have never found a Hindu , Christian or jew who afraid of discussing their faith.

I discussed with many of them as i was researching on religions.

Yes... many of them don't have actual knowledge of their own faith but they got never offended but discussed whatever they knew.

But once i was trying to research on Islam and i went to mosques , met many mullahs and scholars. Some of them refused to discuss and told me to read the Quran first. I told them i have already read Quran three time very deeply. Thats why im here bcz it raised many questions in my minds. So i want to discuss it .

They had given me time but never met again on that time.
Then i tried online but onliner muslims gets offended easily and started abusing and run away from discussion.

The best example of my legal question is here on PDF.
PDF itself has banned discussing Islam.
So why Muslims afraid of discussing their faith??
Does muslims afraid of criticism of their religion or fear of Allah raising questions ??
Any idea....?

Muslims here (mostly)Don't know more than you "could"... They don't know more than Quran and Hadith...
So...Read both and that's it...

In Islam... It's either you know about it and speak... or you don't...

Approximation in Quoting Knowledge from the Quran is Forbidden... and a Sin... Therefore if you don't have the proper knowledge... it's better to not speak.

What gives you impression that Muslims are "afraid" discussing their faith? Quite a lame assumption considering Islam is the fastest growing religion in world, this ofcourse cannot happen without "discussion" and "debating" about Islam to non believers.

TBH, in this day and age, Islam doesn't even need "marketing" or "sales pitch". World knows about it and follow its rituals and practices with interests. For instance, Ramadan is followed throughtout the world and non believers know when it starts and when it finish. There is a lot of interests anyway without Muslims even trying.

When a book is written and set in concrete, over a period of time things change.

For good or bad Muslims still follow the book word to word.

What may be acceptable in the past may not be acceptable today and this will lead to a lot of ridicule.

Hence it is better to avoid any and all discussions. Just accept what is in the book as always correct.
