Why Kerala has no beef with beef.

Oh I thought Sri Lankans were Asuras .....

On the politically motivated bit, I do not agree. Large percentage of Hindus and Indians feel very strongly abhorrent about the slaughter of cows. I don't understand how someone can call himself a Hindu and eat a cow. It really is sickening. I am sharing my sentiments on the subject, not lecturing you.

Even if politicians keep away from the issue, it will not change how people think. And politicians and political parties do not exist and operate in vacuo. They represent the people. So if the people feel strongly about something, and the politicians do not act on it, they are not representing us. In that context, sure it is political. Just as all elections and elected representatives are.

i do understand what you are saying, but there is different cultures in Hinduism too in India. I was in Delhi and in Blore for considerable years. For e.g only married women wear kumkum 'tilak' on the forehead who are married only. But in karnataka, it is a must for the girls who became a woman.

And how is this relevant ?

Exactly my point above.

Its funny how they use "political motivation" to deny Hindus their right. Clearly political can only be used by minorities, not the Majority as a means of empowerment.

I agree about different sub cultures amongst the larger Hindu whole bro. We are an ancient land and civilization. Often cloistered from each other for periods of time depending on the political landscape.

But this is beef we are talking about man. This is like cutting across the length and breadth of the land and states. Only Kerala stands out. Maybe some NE states as well? I don't know. I just feel puky talking about it.

N.E states are not Hindu so they do not really count.

But the emasculation or social castration of Kerala hindus is now permanent. They will now support anything Anti-Hindu more than anything Pro-Hindu.

Worse still, they think its something to be proud off. You will never see a worse form of Stockholm Syndrome that is so deeply engrained.

That is your flawed logic only, asking murder, rape, is banned or not!

Nope. It was your logic being flung back at you. If nothing is explicitly banned, then even rape and murder is not banned and hence according to you mallus, all Hindus must be raping and murdering.

.
Sir lots of North Easterners are proper Hindu. What are you saying?

Sorry ..... Assam and Sikkim is still Hindu majority I think. In Manipur and AP, hindus are now in minority.

Nope. It was your logic being flung back at you. If nothing is explicitly banned, then even rape and murder is not banned and hence according to you mallus, all Hindus must be raping and murdering.

Pls don't tar all mallus by the same brush.

See, I can understand your attitude to beef since I have been to North India for long time. But an ordinary keralite may not understand this and for him and many other, it is an infringement of rights. If people do not like, do not eat. And our religion does not have blasphemy laws I believe.

Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh make up bulk of Hindu population. In fact Hindus are majority in NE collectively even now. So they do count. The Christian population states have very small populations.

You are firing at your foot dear

Its not as simple as do not like do not eat. The cow has a special place in Hinduism. And forget the politically correct narrative, but this IS a Hindu land. You are going to slaughter and eat cows on it, and then crow about it here?

I won't. Unlike Bengalis, at least 50% Mallus are very strongly Hindu with good understanding of Hinduism unlike the sad specimens we see here.

How dear? I was only pointing at the logical fallacy of your argument which claims since there is no explicit word as banned in Hinduism, anything and everything goes.

See, I can understand your attitude to beef since I have been to North India for long time. But an ordinary keralite may not understand this and for him and many other, it is an infringement of rights. If people do not like, do not eat. And our religion does not have blasphemy laws I believe.

We do not have blasphemy laws, but we have dharma and adharma. You are an Adharmi if you eat Cows. That is worse than blasphemy.

So why is the cow not protected in the N.E ?

I won't. Unlike Bengalis, at least 50% Mallus are very strongly Hindu with good understanding of Hinduism unlike the sad specimens we see here.

Thank you, I am a mallu too.
