Why is South Indian food different from North Indian food?

I got to agree with you that we use less spices than South Indian food and majority our food requires the use of oil a lot, also ghee and yoghurt. And are also fried like shobji, aloo or dim (egg) bhajji or meat and tikka based food. And many others!!
bro these things are useless to me..I am veg...
aur what u eat in veg.....and hw imp is fish is BD cuisine

Parotta is nothing but lachha partha's refined form.
My theory is somebody from north once made lachhaa paratha for his south Indian friend. South Indian friend who wanted to emulate his north Indian fren ended making paratha with white flour and called it parotttttaaa. :D
Parotta is made from maida, not a healthy substitute :azn:
