If you choose to look at it objectively, u'd see the enormous potential of trade and friendship with India that Pakistan can take advantage of and prosper. from an outsider perspective: perhaps he realizes that normalizing relations with India is in the national interest of Pakistan. The indian machinery developed without pakistan and indians don't see any desperate need to give something in return.

From mian saab's POV, the steps need to be taken for Pakistan's own interest, so expecting something in return is rather naive.

Visa free entry? Besides nostalgic Punjabis and Sikhs who have their prominent places of worship there; why would Indians want to go to Pakistan? It is not exactly a tourist hub. Not just from India's perspective - but even overall - how many tourists want to go there? For example - how many Chinese tourists go to Pakistan?

Really, if India and Pakistan want to co-exist peacefully - just get the Kashmir issue done and dusted with. Everything else will fall into place.
