Why India's military buildup in the Sino-Indian border?: China's MOD

China has been adhering to the "peaceful rise" development concept, but was misread in some countries as "emerging threat", particularly in the construction of the Chinese military has made in development, it is that some countries "headache." Recently, the East China Sea, South China Sea issue is constantly exposed some of the countries on China "jealousy envy hate" mentality.

Chinese MOD sounds like a typical Chinese fanboy:lol:

Indeed..water only flow higher altitudes to region lower altitudes according to physic law...but you seems to forget about water tunnel, When we evil chinese build Tibet raiway, we have digged over hundred section of tunnel across mountains...do you think digging water tunnel throught Karakorm is impossible for us? I bet my money on our civil engineers.

LOL you are planning to tunnel worlds largest Mountain range to make space for mighty river such as Indus ..and I thought somebody said ..that Chinese are suppose to be smart!!

Even the idea of " pumping river water upstream using electric pumps(even though very ridiculous)" is much more feasible than yours.

Since you are willing to bet money on it ..I am guessing you must have read a feasibility study on changing course of river Indus to Pakistan"..perhaps you can share it with rest of us.

Otherwise you are just acting like a fool ..making big claims that count for nothing.

the Indus river map is speaking for itself, we're not talking about thousand miles of canal or tunnel...probably 300 km max.

How is diverting the water of Indus, going to affect India:confused:

. .
So how many miles of mountain range are we talking about?

Again care to share the feasibility study!!

as I re-edit my last post..probably 300 or 450 km to connect Indus river directly to Pakistan border...with satellite optimization...we can chose a path that evoid digging tunnel as much as possible.

take a look in your india map...you will understand if we divert water Indus water directly to Pakistan..India will have no leverage against Pakistance but India side of Jammu will be a dead land.

How can you avoid digging ..as surface elevation rises all along it is "planned" path..so not only will one have to dig innumerable number mountains but aslo constantly dig into the ground lower and lower ..so that water flow in one direction there is no back flow that will flood you Tibet plateau..you will have to do so until you reach the plains in Pakistan(ie Pakistani Punjab)..where the surface actually levels.

Not considering the cost which might run into trillion of dollars ..what benefit will it bring to you?

I don't know the topography of that region but yes if it require to dig across Karakurum deeper and lower into mountain until we reach plains in pakistan...it's a political price that we have to pay to deal with India.

the benefits are numerious if we succeded of diverting this water: as I explained, India will never again be able to use water to black mail Pakistan, China will have total control of any single drop water that flow to India's control of Jammu without to have worry about affecting Pakistan, I'm pretty sure that India don't want to be at China's mercy...so you can imagine the consequence if tighten the valve of water that Jammu people need.

It's a pain job to artificially divert this river and prolitical price that we will have to pay but the future is bright for China and Paksitan once it's done:lol:

Indus river only flows through 1 district called Ladakh which has so many lakes small rivers and other water bodies, for Jammu region it is river Chenab and for Kashmir region its river Jhelum. Indus river is only viable for hydroelectric projects for India and that India is currently doing.

so why havent you diverted it already isnt pakistan your closest friend, since its not diverted i wouldnt like to discuss the fanboy stuff

Considering your map is to scale you will have to dig a 700-800Km long underground tunnel ..
Do you know what is the length longest underground man made tunnel and how much it costed??
Can you estimate the cost of this adventure?

Not only is it technologically and economically unfeasible...but so dangerous an idea to contemplate that ..its repercussion can destroy majority of Tibet region.

eg An earthquake or landslide(pretty common in Himalayan regions) causes a even tiny section of the tunnel to or even mountains to collapse ..what happens??...You end up flooding Tibet ..killing thousands of your own people.
Tiniest repair on such a tunnel will take years and cost billions.

We will do whenever we feel that's the right time and that we can rip a great benefit for us...we have total control of our land and water...India can't do anything about it but just sit idlely and watch if we decide to do it... you can call this as fan boy stuff if that make you feel better.

Clearly all your talk is just hot air and has no substance in it in the real world ..I asked for something as simple as feasibility study(which is a bed rock of any project) of something you are so sure, can be done!!

Considering there is no such report ..means saner section Chinese population are not even contemplating such foolishness!!

i think kiss of dragon has a rotten habbit,,, as soon as he sees an indian thread he imediately posts a flaming reply...with irrelevant chest bashing stuffs.. u know the saying ,, "If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in periL" -sun tzu
