Every case of major American corporate fraud somehow involves Indian executives.

Take for example ongoing Theranos court case.

Ramesh Bawani:

Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani is an American businessman who is the former president and chief operating officer of Theranos, which was a privately held health technology company founded by his then-girlfriend Elizabeth Holmes.

This also goes for Medicare fraud and often involves Indian names .
May question is this: why despite having such high paying job these people commit frauds ?

. .
What kind of a nonsense thread is this?

Posting a story about one corrupt Indian and then extrapolating it to all Indians seems, oh, I don't know, dishonest. How about publishing a credible study with actual numbers and not a single anecdote in OP?

Do Indians commit fraud at a higher rate than other ethnic groups? Or does it just seems that way just because there are so many of us?

Ramesh Balwani was born in Sindh, Pakistan into an upper middle-class Sindhi Hindu farming family. He attended Aitchison College, a prestigious boarding school in Lahore. He stayed there until 1984, receiving an education the British colonialists had designated for "youths of good family". Balwani speaks Urdu, Hindi and English

Because the stakes are high, given their ability to influence and rope in prominent persons to invest they created a perception of safe haven only to exploit human vulnerabilities.
Fraudsters at their best only to be busted by an inside whistle-blower.

Max was 15. He was given 13. Holmes (The American woman) was given 11 years and 3 months. Balwani was deeper into money fraud. He also was older, more experienced and had more financial education.
