Why I lost faith in Indian Military

So the failed leaders like Modi and General Rawat get a free pass in spite of their colossal failures.

1947 War with Pakistan - Lost
1962 War with China - Lost
1965 War with Pakistan - Tie
1999 War with Pakistan - Lost

2019 Battle with Pakistan - Lost

It has to do with structuring your military based on colonial legacy. Your officers are kalay angrez. They have taken over the position of their former British masters thus treating their ranks like shit and generally being corrupt. Anyways you bhartis are not really fighters. The issue is that Indian politicians do not care for Indian Military - For example PM Nehru did not want to win the 1962 war with China as he felt that the Indian Military after the win could depose him in a coup. And then we have PM Modi whom sanghis consider as god has brought down Indian Defence Budget to the lowest since 1962. Indian politicians simply do not have any interest in making the Indian Military strong.

On the other hand, India Military does not care about winning wars or making Indian military strong. All they care is how to buy some expensive toys to make commissions or go on protest to get Salary and Pension hikes.

This should be a lesson, which many parts of the world have already learned like Europe and Asia after WW2, that war is not the answer but accepting other people’s will and prospering through trade.

Free Kashmir according to the will of the Kashmiri people, cut your military budget and aim for more trade with your neighbors and onwards by land to the rest of the world.

The longer this goes on, India will squander its demographic dividend (India’s average age will grow older but it will be stuck being poor) and the rest of the world will move on. This is the time to be bold and make peace before it is too late. India’s birth rate is already below replacement levels.

The problem is that most Indians think that holding their leaders and military accountable to be anti-national.

Even former Indian officers, such as Pravin Sawhney, are called Anti-national when they point out the absurdity of Indian military strategy. He even advocates to make peace with Pakistan, knowing what he knows about where India is going if it keeps on the same track and as China modernizes it’s military.

If France and Germany can make peace, its only vested interests that hold back India from making peace with the Pakistan. If Kashmir was a free country bordering India, it wouldn’t diminish India, but free India and all Indians to spend on human capital development and R&D in industries that would make India prosperous. Just like a free Nepal on India’s border does not diminish India.

Indian culture could then purge itself of the corrosive elements that a culture goes through when it has to justify repressing another people, similar to the Japanese in Korea or the Germans in Eastern Europe during WW2. This would help make India a better place for all Indians, we need only look at how most Japanese and Germans live today, when they have demilitarized their cultures.
