Who mentioned Muslims? 95% of immigration to Australia are not Muslims. 1.1m Chinese & Indians immigrated to Australia, they form the huge bulk of immigrants. Unless there is a plan to limit those two it won’t make the slightest difference to immigration numbers.

I don’t know why you have this strange obsession with Muslim countries. The highest population growth rates are in Sub-Saharan African & Christian country like Uganda, DR Congo & Angola or Rwanda.

Infrastructure and services are becoming a huge problem in Sydney. But it all boils down to fundamentals. If you have jovs for which you don't have skills you need to bring people in. What the government is missing is a structured program of working with businesses to project future needs, and then shaping education programs to guide students to areas most needed. This brings up arguments about freedom etc. I day this: education is not a right, it's an obligation. An obligation to serve your country in the way it needs. Because otherwise you are leaving your country at the mercy of foreign skilled labor. This is where our politicians completely lack vision. @TruthTheOnlyDefense

Exactly, our politicians are a bunch of idiots, we need to stop immigration for a while until we can build the infrastructure, or we will become a third world country like Indian, Pakistan etc.

Australian immigration will continue to remain open if you are white, English speaking and especially if you're Catholic. They equally hate the Russian orthodox Christians. Basically, Australia has reverted back to its White Australia Policy (Inspired by guess who) in all but name.

Cuz they're white. Try moving into a white neighborhood without seeing atleast 1-3 family putting their house up for sale and moving out. I bet you'd fail. Especially if God forbid you happen to live next to a mosque.

It's good if Australia and other countries stop skilled immigration programs and focus on internal skill development.. it will be a huge favor to third world countries because they are suffering from brain drain.

But then majority of Australian natives (including whites) are high school leavers who want to work in a supermarket. Government then always turns towards immigrants for essential skills.

They have recently slowed down the program and companies have started crying.

Australia or Canada gets 3500 dollars on visa fee, and in return gets a foreign qualified and trained skilled individual on which they haven't spent a dime... It's like going to a market and getting things for free... Sorry not just free but you get huge some of money as well...

Imagine a Pakistani engineer, he completes a degree from a top University in Pakistan and get trained in a multinational... That individual is coming with at least 500000 dollars worth of education and experience and possibly a lot of money initially for setting up.. and then he starts paying taxes as soon as he secures a job... I mean had that guy been educated and trained in Australia or Canada as a citizen the government would have paid a lot of money on his education and healthcare and waited for a number of years even after his education before he would start paying taxes.. and with no guarantee, he might have ended up in a superstore. Now they are getting a ready to eat fruit with money too..

These are clear clever countries who will not stop immigration ever for this reason...
