What's new

Why does the Pakistani elite(PDF included) lack empathy for fellow Pakistanis?

Because the Naked Truth is very Bitter. They don't know who to blame or they don't want to blame them who are actually responsible.
1-The Religious Fanatics will never be criticized in this country even if they burn this country to the ground
2-Hazara Killing will always get a cold shoulder because they are Shias and the Attackers are Lashkar e Jhangvi
3-News always broadcast two groups "Kaladam Tanzeem" and "Namaluum Afraad" even after almost 5,000+ Lives lost their is no clear narrative as to who is our enemy. State and media have totally failed here to give us a narrative
4-Peopel will never understand a basic norm of modern world that you cannot response some one who SAYS something with a BULLET. As anyone. at some level we feel it ok to KILL some one because he/she SAID something
5-We will never draw lines between us and such fanatics. This Unity thing is killing us and not letting the society forward.
6-We never put any emphasis on Law enforcement agencies. they are still the primitive minded colonial era Sentry Force. Neither are they encouraged and cheered by public for whatever little they still achieve to protect us.
7-And Most importantly People are not denouncing Violence as the worst sin possible. for us the unforgivable sins for which whole society shows disgusts are the ones done in personal lives of people while Such tendencies such as Corruption, Violence etc that effect other people are still considered secondary and no one get the share of social hate for doing these things

Lets have a high five if you also believe terrorism and violence will be controlled by Fighting a war by our army soldiers :disagree:
Its the Police that can control terrorism. Only the police can control the society with on ground intelligence networks sources legal cover etc. But Police are ignored, Ridiculed and demoralized (Its their fault as well to some extent)

We are a nation that didn’t give a shit when people were being butchered by US drone strikes. Some were even cheerleading and justifying the carnage. Countless people lost their lives in so many attacks.

It is a monstrous attack against the Hazara community and we should all be mourning.
Libturds..
Well those are scumbags...

.
Yesterday 20 people were killed in Quetta. The target of the attack was the Hazara community and those killed included Hazara, Pushtuns and Baloch.

Unlike after the Christchurch attack which happened in far away New Zealand and evoked a strong response from the Pakistani public, we don't see that happening when it comes to this attack, neither in the mainstream media nor on social media.

This isn't the first time too....In 2017, a blast ripped through 70 people in Sehwan Sharif. We had the usual condolences and one week into the attack.....naddaaaa.

No individual stories on the victims, about their families....nothing.

The sight of dead poor Pakistanis doesn't invoke the same empathy. The visuals of their poor relatives in torn clothes, in their dark skin and their broken Urdu, wailing after their dead ones is only tolerated for a day or two.

No offense, we respect them all. It's just desensitization, one thing is a bit common, the other isn't so much, and the rare usually gets a more intense response. Just the unfortunate reality.

Oh when did it happen again , i feel sad .
Hope security remains good .

Because it doesn't fit into the narrative that only other peoples are oppressive towards Muslims or Pakistanis.

A Muslim or Pakistani oppressive against a Muslim or Pakistani? upft... That can never happen because Muslims and Pakistanis are angels bro...

Pakistanis are the "most generous nation" in the world.

Pakistanis are the "most sexiest peoples" in the world.

These aren't attributes of oppressive people....

never shy from condemning all sort of Terrorism , either its NZ or Pakistan, America or Norway , Somalia or Congo , India or Australia , there is no place for extremist/Terrorists/Racist in 21st Century .

I have been keep saying this for long that Baluchistan needs a separate but much more sophisticated Operation to clear our those Sleeper cells , we need to seal of the border and make sure to hit Targets inside Afghanistan .

Not entirely true. When news of the Hazara attack came I was both very upset and angry. Upset that fellow Pakistanis are being attacked and angry that Pakistanis themselves are doing nothing about it. Makes my blood boil. I honestly wish there was something I could do about it. Unfortunately, a lot of Pakistanis themselves have no humanity for their own. They cry for Palestinians, arabs and New-Zealanders but never their own. Screwed up mentality.

What can we do nothing all we can do is just look at this horrific news and think what the **** is wrong with the world. Life is precious ofcourse I feel sad but what can I do whilst sitting in the UK nowadays if someone dies no one gives a shit the world has become cruel my friend

I think Iran again needs recruits for some proxy war... May be Yemen this time..the only way Hazara people can avoid these attacks is not to participate in any Irani expeditions.

We need to be very careful and we are not. These attacks can set a very dangerous precedent. We haven’t learnt from PTM.

Many attacks against Hazara and other communities are orchestrated. We know who fully benefits from sowing bloodshed among various ethnic groups in Pakistan. They have ganged up across the border. These are the same forces that have been handing out ultimatums on the existence of Pakistan.

It is easier said than done, but our security forces need to up their game. Unfortunately, one cannot prevent every cowardly attack, but we have little choice to bow in face of terror. This malicious gang doesn’t want to see a prosperous and unified Pakistan. They will continue to harm us in various ways. It is up to us to protect our people and nation from harm.
