Very well said OverClocking GuyCertain parts of science asks one to question their faith in what they believe to be true. This is not easy for countries who are still very traditional in their values (not to say there is anything wrong with that).
To say that this speaks to the intelligence of any culture or religion is ludicrous. Every developed or developing country in the world embraces science on a daily basis, even if they don't realize it. That doesn't mean they embrace the elements or disciplines of science that contradict religious teachings.

But the kids these days , they can do everything with technologyYou cannot have technology without science. Now, that doesn't mean you have to understand the science in order to take advantage of technology.
Good point , not only israel has 13 milion residents but there are 42 million jews world wide who support them financially , arab world so poor like egypt
