Why does Pakistan will never able to build kalabagh dam?

Water is a life and death issue for people. So is politics for politicians. But if “enemy states” like India and Pakistan can settle such matters via bilateral agreements like the Indus Waters Treaty which has withstood war and dismemberment and nuclear rattling, why can’t provinces within states find an acceptable resource-sharing model? This leads to other key questions that have a distinct bearing on the issue: Why haven’t we been able to implement the 1991 water accord between the provinces?. Lack of unity among provinces and lot of politicians are on the payroll of RAW. The main opponents of Kalabagh dam mainly Sindh and KPK have a lot of apprehensions pertaining to the construction of the dam. Whoever raises voice against the Kalabagh dam should be shot down by the tank now. Pakistan Army is Allah great blessing to us, We don't trust this politician who already planned us to die without water and leave us abroad. Allah blessing via Pak Army is always protecting the country and their people and hope this project also handle by Pak army.
will build Kalabagh dam to save future life. Every time there is something good to be done in my country, India is going to oppose it and use her kinetic warfare against pakistan.
Also now it is the election season and Indian lobby is trying to manipulate these elections as well to try to stop more upcoming dams and CPEC project.

if we implemented Pakistan Flood Control System successfully will block India's move of internationalizing the flood water wastage in pakistanfor propaganda and grabbing more of Pakistan's water.

Kalabagh Dam is just a political card in Pakistan. These politicians don't care about within five years people will die without water if we don't take the precaution measure now.

there are 24 different locations

this doesnt include chanab and other points in GB

feasibility and PC1-2 and detail design of following dams are available and were suppose to be competed in 2018 and start in 2008 but were shelf for lack off financing

1. munda dam (will start this year, again why start dam when you are leaving?)
2. bhasha dam (started in next yr, like WTF, next yr decision should have been left to next govt)

That's why people in sindh are dying and facing water shortage, soon there will be no water left.. only traitors and enemy of Pakistan don't want it to be built, our enemy has put so much time and money in it... if kala bagh dam was not in Punjab it would have been built long time ago..jealousy is the only reason its not built.. and those who say there are other dams than why not all dams including kala bagh should be built...

small dams are faster and to be honest are easier to build as they cost less and thus are more viable but metros are more important..

e.g a single islamabad metro cost can cover cost of munda dam with 1.2MAF storage and 800mw

or orange line railway can cover cost of both munda and kurram tangi=combined 2.5MAF=40% subz bagh dam

i support kalabagh dam but if we stuck in this discussion again we will not even build one dam
so we should ask them to build bhasha, munda, akhori, shyok, chiniot and other small dams

There are 2 things that we can do here

1. Keep crying about Kalabagh dam and don't do anything
2. Move forward and build other dams

Now i am sure that majority would choose option 2. As for why haven't they been built yet? For that we will need to ask the previous Federal govts, but if we do that then democrazy will be in trouble.

because funding is finite..and people are idiots, so you cant change what was engraved in their heads since they were kids

minutes from cabinet meetings are available, finance minster answered pleads of WAPDA that we dont have 100 billiion rupees/yr so please bring it down to 50 billion by building it in two phases dam/electric work, once wapda did that in 2015 Ishaq sahab said we dont have 50 billion rupees got to hell

some how they have money now as it will be the next govt tenure lol so they released money and asked wapda to go ahead..so we expect work to start in august but once PML N wins they will cancel it again

same is true for munda dam, the tender was cancelled in 2013-14
