The Chinese are wonderful at covering things up, from it's poverty, the sexual assault and rape of it's kids, and the hunger and poverty of it's people. Why are Chinese quick to criticize other countries and yet run and hide when the finger is pointed at them?

. . . . .
his first thread about China..

guy's an obvious troll, have a look at his posting history and other threads

I have noticed that he lumps together China and India in the same sentence (usually in a derisive manner). Something that no Chinese person would do.

But you still can't criticize any Westerners of course. So he's still a Chinese for you. Fine, I understand.

It's not like Australians are known for attacking Indians or something.

I remember a couple of his other threads "is india a good country" "is india a dirty country" or something to that extent, dripping retardedness, not something Australians are generally known for, but who knows, maybe he is an aussie retard who made his way here from liveleek or something :P

The OP is an insidious little fcuker stirring up trouble with one liners and then sitting back to watch the shitstorm.

I should open a new thread titled:

""Why is Black Alloy such a sadistic retard?"

Btw, I suspect him to be Bogan or a Turk.

Whats wrong can't handle the truth?

Whats wrong, no dictionary where you live?

Genocide is the deliberate killing of a specific ethnic group. Please cite an example of Chinese DELIBERATELY killing off people in another ethnic group.

No cultural genocide bullshit please.
Can I ask a question? No offense intended. But the figures I have heard is that 45 million people died during the Great Leap Forward over a period of 4 years which makes the communist party one of the great mass murderers of history. I am just wondering what do chinese of today think of this? Is all forgiven? Do you dispute the numbers? Do you see this as a necessary evil?

I am not trolling, I recognize this is a touchy subject, so please don't answer if you don't want to (or don't know or feel it is too offensive) - no problem. I am curious to know what modern Chinese think of some of these historical events.

The great leap forward was failed economic policy and overzealous application of ideology. The intentions were good but the outcome was disasterous.

Up to 30 million Chinese died when counties played a game of one upmanship to beat neighbouring counties in food production. The higher the declaration, the larger the amount of grain that was given to the state.

Mao was starting to lose it by this point and various high ranking party members were aghast at the ill effects of their policies in the countryside.

In China, legitimacy of the communist party is of paramount importance. Fail too much and the mandate of heaven is lost. Society collapses and a dark age comes about thus failures by the CPC is covered up. Its a ham fisted approach and most Chinese already know of the past failures of the communist party.

Thanks for the straight answer. Good to know that there has been no major revision of history and enough people still remember the gross errors of the past and continue to hold the party responsible. Any nation that forgets its past or re-writes it is doomed to keep making the same mistakes. Thanks again.
