Why do we hate the congress- My take.

You are trying to mix ideology with individual instances. And no party is pure to follow the perfect ideology like Congress support Muslim league in Kerala and AP.

Ideology matter when in crisis, what would be anticipated response of the group. Both Congress and RSS ideology works in ambit of Indian Constitution by interpreting in their own way. These ideology develop and deploy their assets to increase penetration and make policies as and when required. Open market policy is something very specific to RSS not Congress, still congress PM implemented it. This is an overlap which should be seen as an individual abbreviation, since then congress is firmly back into socialist groove with MNREGA and other initiatives.
You seriously believes that the RSS were pro liberal since 1947 and had sincerely prompted for open market since independence. Jana Sangh was against Nehru's socialism and were conservative in the beginning.

I suggest you to read some of literature available on RSS (not from leftist historian/ Congress stooges) and make informed opinion on basic policies followed by them.
Yes they are ideologically liberals in both FoE as well as industry.

There is a popular belief in India that whenever the BJP led NDA alliance comes to power the graph of communal violence and religious intolerance shoots up, mostly because the govt. is then helping to propagate their Hindutva brand of politics led by BJP’s ideological wing RSS agenda of Hinduism (Hindutva) and hard nationalism, which is mostly certified by the “Ghar wapsi” and Babri Masjid. On the other hand the Congress led UPA alliance is more of a secular minded political class which rejects the Hindutva brand and adopt a more socialist approach when it comes to Indian politics. But those who know well will say that Congress too is not a secular party, if we strictly adhere to the dictionary meaning of the word. According to the Oxford dictionary ‘secular’ means, ‘not adhering to religious or spiritual matters’. Congress leaders however frequently invoke religious symbols and idioms when it suits their purpose.

So why is it that we believe that while comparing these two parties Congress appears to be the secular and the left wing types while the BJP is more of a Hindu Nationalist right wing anti-minorities political class. Is it because Indian National Congress was formed during the days of freedom struggle from the British raj.? And most of Its leaders were those who later became the founding fathers of our very own Republic Of India, including those who wrote our constitution and shaped the very basic principles of India as a nation.

While many people believes that BJP is a Political Party dominated by Upper caste Hindus and congress party is the real messiah of lower castes and the minorities, this is more of a divide and rule policy adopted by the British. What we see is a blackmail for secularism which is exercised by the congress to gain popularity among the lower castes and minorities “Vote for us if you do not want BJP to rule because thing are going to be worse for you under them”. By trying to part and marginalise the people on the basis of their castes and then announcing the reservation just before the elections.

It is true that congress corrupt leaders plays the dirty game of using reservation as a tool to draw votebanks. What we have seen 60 years after the independence is extremely corrupt regimes who will overlook its people for pleasing foreign powers and the power concentrated to just one family.

Though we have the highest regards for those congress leaders who fought for this country’s independence and set the foundation of India becoming a self-sustained world largest democracy which is together stronger even after it’s immense diversity, the congress of today is far away from the one that once fought for our freedom.

yes i started hating congress because of non progressive (negative politics) ,they are more dangerous for country that right-wing hindutva

For your knowledge, the reservation to SC/ST is an outcome of Poona Pact - 1932 between Gandhi and Ambedkar. Post independence governments have nothing to do with that. Secondly, reservations to non SC/ST was introduced by a non congress VP Singh govt. which was supported by BJP.

There was very little corruption before emergency or in first 2 decades of independence. Today no political party or govt is free of corruption.

Indira Gandhi silenced her critics with her ability to govern. Her mettle was prven when she bifurcated Pakistan in 1971. Rajiv Gandhi was the darling of Indians when he took oath in 1984. Then no one talked of family. But its high time congress looks beyond the gandhi family.

agree my reason for hating congress because of non progressive politics and Rahul Gandhi

Non- alignment movement was good for us to some extent as we became the leader of 3rd world countries
:D
but what else did we gain from it?
Rahul Gandhi :cheesy:
Apart from that Nehru's Kashmir Policy and his weakness and mismanagement of the threat from China and 1962 were the major failure in his foreign policy.
there is always an uncertainity, fear of failure while executing a particular policy. If some of his policies did not succeeded does not makes him a looser. But yes, 'Hindi-Chini bhai bhai' was his worst.

.
Let's see,

(1) Lack of intra-party democracy. Rahul Gandhi is hardly qualified to be a peon but he is their national leader because he is from the family.
(2) Vote bank politics of minority appeasement for decades. The goal was to keep them poor but to get their votes based politics of appeasement.
(3) Lack of foresight as far as the country's future is concerned.
(4) Naming everything under the sun after their gandhis.
(5) Scams after scams and no accountability.

There could be more.
