Lack of critical thinking among the masses in India. That's the short and sweet answer to your question. The mantra that 'We believe everything our Government and Arnab tells us' creates a collective society that lacks critical thinking. Case in point:

- We shot down a PAF F16. Our brave MIG21 pilot knew that he will loose his life but before getting shot down, he fired his BVRAAM. (No one in India bothered to question if Abhi fired his R77, how come PAF recovered all of his A2A missiles intact).
- We killed 43 PLA soldiers. (No one in India bothered to question, if the Indian Army killed 43 PLA soldiers, how come the entire Brigade Command was either captured or killed by the PLA).

But the bigger embarrassment are these Pakistani guests that go to these Indian Shows.

This isn’t random - it isn’t accidental.
One only has to look at the pattern for Nazi Germany, the Neo-conservative movement in the US, AQ & ISIS to see the tactics and pattern used. Use religion as loose packaging, fear mongering and simple 2-point arguments then blast them constantly and immediately shoot tangets or dismiss when questioned. Eventually the targets of this campaign will mirror those dosing them and pass it forward.
look at the Indian members here,they are mostly brainwashed drones. Many SS members who carried out gassing of jews were former neighbors and doctors, nurses and educated people - yet they participated happily because the repeated propaganda had become a belief system which they would preach and defend no matter what.

Many Indian members here and many other Indians seen online are not far from the same state of participating in genocide or watching silently. This is a real threat to the entire population that are sub-continent non-Hindus.

The trouble with Indians and Pakistanis who engage in a slugfest with each other online is that they take the other to be a representative sample of their country.

PDF by its very nature will attract Indians who want to retaliate to the anti-India content in the forum. Thus it is not some random selection of people whom you can call representative. In their own circles Indians are critical of the government and the state of affairs. The fact is that no one likes criticism from another country because their manhood gets challenged. You can lampoon IK as much as you like, but if an Indian does the same you will be very touchy about it. Same is true of Indians too.

If you go to the comments section of Youtube for Indian and Pakistani street food videos you will find a flood of mutual love and admiration. That is not the reality either. The reality for majority of the population on both sides is indifference. Not contemptuous indifference, but simply 'too-busy-with-my-own-struggles' indifference. Media does not like this indifference because media thrives on conflict. So they have to keep doing something about it.
