Look at the map and you will understand whos the main gate against India but China herself has been containing India but the main gate-holder is Pakistan and China has been investing in Pakistan to contain them.. India is sort of cut of from the Asian Mainland by Pakistan

China is not a policing super power like the USA, plus it has seen what happened to USSR and USA. Afghanistan will have to settle down before China shows any interest on the ground.

China is not interested in colonial expansion or war but only in trade. They are the communist party not the war mongering neocon party.
