The usual populist slogans, "we will end corruption", "we will end nepotism", "we will bring equality". A certain section of the disillusioned youth and protesters for hire form the bulk of the protestors in the capital. They claim the elections of last year were rigged and that as such the prime minister should step down. The PM is obviously refusing to do this.

due to the security situation, although it is not that bad, a few hundred people are just dancing in the "Red Zone" of the capital, the President could be taken to another city like Lahore or Pakistan, but it is not appropriate security vise, and it is not suitable that the President of a country which is so close to us should visit and not be taken to the capital, i think the visit will be re scheduled as soon as these idiots leave the capital, apart from that there is no anarchy, and the power is firmly in the hands of the elected Government and the Prime Minister, and the Armed forces of Pakistan are also currently neutral and are not interfering in any negative or damaging way to the Govt Of the IRP

Pretty much. I used to sympathize with this party once. Now ive realized its just like any other political party. It will play dirty and be hypocritical as long as it means they win.

Im sure it will. The opposition just needs a face saving exit from this disaster. They thought the whole country would rise up with them and stop paying taxes and force the government out. As it turns out the vast majority of Pakistanis just want to get on with life and are sick and tired of instability caused by these kinds of protests.
