in my white collar professional life of over 20 years in UK I have only come across 2 or 3 Pakistanis, none of them anything special in looks or style that will cause their white female colleagues to run after them.

You only met 3 Pakistanis in your whole professional life? I live in Germany (100k Pakistanis living here) and I had at least 5 Pakistani developers as colleagues in the last 10 years. Ok, Munich is maybe not a good example because it’s very international but UK I thought is little Pakistan? But to be quite honest most of my UK rishtedaar have grocery shops, takeaways and drive taxi… but many have white British, Arab, Bengali and Malay spouses, so that’s an achievement according to this thread I guess?

I have worked as a bouncer for like 5 or 6 years in early 2000s and I have seen the going on personally. I mean no disrespect just the fact. there are some decent looking nicely dressed Pakistani boys and men but they were exception. I was part of a Caribbean and Pakistani bouncer team with an odd white men now and then and we always warned each other when group of Asian men came in the club.

Same here in Germany. I never went to clubs and stuff like that because I hate hook-up culture and loose morale, but many of my Turkish friends worked as bouncers and yes, their main task was it to bounce and kick out their fellow countrymen from discos and parties . You aren’t allowed to discriminate based on your ethnicity in Germany but they can deny you access by the clothes you wear. „Muslim“ associations here in Germany complain about this fact and cry racism and Islamophobia. Hilarious isn’t it? Denying Muslim access to a location with loose moral and alcoholism is Islamophobia now .
