What's new

Why are Muslim nations behind the West and the Far East?

The point is they had strong civilizational base in India and Egypt. Pakistan was devastated by the Mongols and much of the world, including areas native to Turks. And, I don't think the Egyptians faced the onslaught Delhi sultanate did. I am Indian who is Muslim [which has to do with worship of Allah], nothing to do with worshiping any race. Your way of thinking is bizarre to me. I don't know where you get your weird ideology from. India has sent space missions to Mars and Moon. Turkey is far from that. Pakistan cannot even think of it. Other Turkic republics like Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are nothing. Comparing capabilities of countries is not like a cricket match. India is huge.

You’re not helping your case one bit. Anyhow, I agree to disagree.

Turkiye has its own Space agenda 2017-2028

Moon Research Program (AYAP-1 )

Turkiye has its own space program to reach the Moon by 2023-2024

Hard landing : 2023-2024
Soft landing : 2028

DeltaV Space Technologies has developed the hybrid propulsion system that will carry the spacecraft developed by TÜBİTAK Space to the Moon

After tests in earth orbit, DeltaV's hybrid engine will fire to enter lunar orbit
SORS is a probe rocket system with hybrid fuel engine technology that will be used primarily for the 2023-2024 hard landing on the Moon.

Hypersonic SORS was fired with liquid oxidizer and solid paraffin, had vertical firing tests in 2021. ( 300 km altitude )

Delta-V belongs to Turkiye and 100% Turkish technology
The World’s first sounding rocket launch using a paraffin/liquid oxygen propellant pair

Mash'Allah, we are happy for Turkey's achievements.

India is backward Country to compare with Turkiye , Kazakhstan , Turkmenistan

HDI Index ( Human development index )
Turkiye : 838 ... ( Istanbul 867 )
Kazakhstan 811
India : 633

And Turkiye develops everything for Turkic States Organization which has tens of trillions of Dollars of Natural Gas , Oil , Thorium , Boron , Uranium , Gold reserves
The way your country runs, it won't take much time for India to overtake GDP per capita and socio-economic indicators of turkey lol.

Here's your GDP per capita graph, for all the achievements of Turkey, it screwed its own macro-economic stability.

Lol Indian Private Space company SkyRoot achieved 90 kilometres in their first trial, they'll soon be launching proper SLVs that can carry 290/480 kg payload at 500km altitude this year meanwhile you'll still be trying to convince everyone how Turkey is a supa powa like a typical Turkish Nationalist.

maybe only in your dreams

Human Development Index use GDP PPP per capita

because adjusted for the cost living in each Country.

PPP takes into account the relative cost of living and the inflation rates of the countries, rather than using only exchange rates, which may distort the real differences in income

read and learn about measure of a country's average achievements in dimensions of human development

  • a decent standard of living, as measured by GNI per capita in PPP terms in USD ($)

Turkiye's GDP PPP per capita has risen to $41.412 from $9.281 between 2002 and 2023 led by president ERDOGAN

GDP PPP per capita

Turkiye : $41.412

Russia : $34.837
Kazakhstan $32.688
China : $23.382
Turkmenistan $19.974
Iran : $19.548
Azerbaijan $18.699
Indonesia : $15.855
India : $9.073

First go and develop even an UCAV
India lacks advanced Aviation Industry and nothing to compare with Turkish aviation Industry

even Israel gave AESA Radar technology to India
even Russia gave Brahmos supersonic cruise missile technology to India

India has started Space program in 1969
Turkiye has started developing SLV in 2017 and we dont care about anyone
We have our own agenda

Roketsan SR-1 : 100 kg payload and 300 km altitude in 2023
Roketsan SIMSEK-1 SLV: 400 kg payload and 550 km altitude in 2027
Roketsan SIMSEK-2 SLV: 1.500 kg payload and 550 km altitude in 2028

also soft landing on Moon by 2028

Always this guy and his Turkey stronk spam

From 400kg to LEO to 1500kg to LEO in 12 months? What kind of drugs are you on, first talk when you sent something to orbit

If you look towards the West like USA, France, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain,

and when you look at the Far East countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and Singapore why are we are behind in science and technology?

An intellectual asked why? Because we are not well educated in the hard sciences and social sciences and the academic disciplines.

How many undergraduates, associate degrees, master degrees, and college diplomas graduates do Muslim majority countries produce?

To bridge the gap, we need to learn industrialization, how to improve governance, how to improve the economy, manufacturing techniques, improve standard of living,
improve the reputation of our countries, and agricultural output of our countries.

People are invited to give their views. We are looking for constructive criticism, and not insults.

Regards.

You've answered your own question. Look at the lists. What distinguishes them from most muslim majority countries? They're secular. Case in point, secular Turkey is far ahead in development than most muslim majority states. The Gulf Arabs just have oil wealth to get things done for them with slave labour. While most countries are striving to achieve self reliance and develop their science/technical base, Pakistanis are preoccupied with still trying to figure out whether their country is "islamic" or not, and lynching "blasphemers".

In terms of science education, concepts like evolution and the origins of the universe that do not evoke a metaphysical supernatural explanation do not fit well with most muslims, so they're suspicious. Look at the way the country treated Abdus Salam. As long as you can cobble together a reverse engineered weapon, you don't need to know anything more beyond that.

First go and develop even an UCAV
Indian Military doesn't feel the need for UCAVs much, hence it is focussed towards loitering munitions. Which is why let alone domestic production, even imports of such UCAVs is not happening, Predator deal is stuck for years. We've seen how those Bayraktars were being squatted by Russians in Ukraine.

Maybe design something as complex as an aircraft carrier or even a basic destroyer or a nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine before talking of supa powa.

Can't even build a basic utility helicopter IoI.

Turks jumping over UAVs is like how a kid jumps over his first DIY drone he assembled.

Iran and India only can dream about Turkish Aviation Industry
First build a basic utility helicopter before claiming to build a fifth generation aircraft.

Roketsan SR-1 : 100 kg payload and 300 km altitude in 2023
Skyroot, 290kg to 480 kg to 500km altitude in 2023 and its just a startup recently incoporated lol.

I think the ErDOGan spam bot realises he can't compare the Torkish space program to India or Iran (especially India, they are on another level) that's why he changes the subject to random taxi tests of fighter jets using American engines

India could not develop even turboprob engined ROUSTAM UAV

Turkish AKINCI UCAV is the best turboprob engined UCAV in the world to carry even 150-280 km Cruise Missiles and 100+ km air to air missile

As I said, Indian Military doctrine doesn't seem to believe in UCAVs, they didn't import any of them even if they felt it necessary. We all saw those Turkish toys being whacked by adversaries of its users.

And as I said, Turks jumping over UAVs is like a kid who is celebrating assembling his first DIY drone. Aviation isn't that simple, these require experience, capital and infra.

Come back again when your country is able to achieve this:

Just like your indigenous T129 is Turkish and not AW129, similarly your T625 has got nothing to do with AW169 .

Stop showing me prototypes, show me something that actually works and has been flying for years, thinking the world will believe you that you built so many supa dupa weapons without much experience all together in a few years is laughable.

Can't even build basic intermediate trainer aircrafts lol.
