Then why you signed to end the nuke race?We detonated the first hydrogen bomb so we are not impressed.
They don't have white superiority complex..Yeah they would.
Non Whites are usually not considered humans by American military. You don't believe me? Go and search the behaviour of American soldiers against Afghan and Iraqi civilians.
Then why you signed to end the nuke race?
They don't have white superiority complex..
Seems to me the current conflicts in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. tends to show Muslims don't considered other Muslims as human beings.
Its like to Rape someone to caste out the 'evil spirits'.
Nuking of Japan was the most horrific terrorist attack in human history.
But I thought you guys were the greater humans. The ''civilized'' ones, the one that brings peace and democracy to the world.
We are, just not easy when others keep trying to kill each other. When we say please stop killing each other, you guys say no.
Yeah. It also doesn't help when you have the largest arms industry in the world.
Admiral William Leahy – the highest ranking member of the U.S. military from 1942 until retiring in 1949, who was the first de facto Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and who was at the center of all major American military decisions in World War II – wrote(pg. 441):We detonated the first hydrogen bomb so we are not impressed.
I thought firebombing was. It created more casualties compared to nuking.
Really? Thought the emperor was their God.
Anyways Japan at the time had warnings and it took 2 bombs to get them to surrender not 1. Also there were Japanese military leaders that decided we didn't have enough atom bombs to keep doing it and felt that they can keep on fighting.

It is my opinion that the use of this barbarous weapon at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was of no material assistance in our war against Japan. The Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender because of the effective sea blockade and the successful bombing with conventional weapons.
leahy,s statement shows that the nuclear bombing was not needed at all but americans used this tactic, this clearly shows that your government had other purposes.
oh really:That is his opinion. In reality he is not the Japanese leaders that refuse to surrender UNTIL their divine Emperor intervened and told them to surrender. You know how the Japanese don't surrender that easily. They would rather die than surrender unless otherwise.
oh really:
MacArthur’s views about the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were starkly different from what the general public supposed …. When I asked General MacArthur about the decision to drop the bomb, I was surprised to learn he had not even been consulted. What, I asked, would his advice have been? He replied that he saw no military justification for the dropping of the bomb. The war might have ended weeks earlier, he said, if the United States had agreed, as it later did anyway, to the retention of the institution of the emperor.
his statement shows that americans didn,t cared about the retention of the emperor as they later agreed to it anyway.
some mlilitary leaders, majority of them agreed to surrender, but uncle sam didn,t saw this.and the naval blockade was working effectively, they would have surrendered in a matter of days or weeks.Yes really, if you looked up on the Kyugo Incident some Japanese military leaders wanted to keep on fighting even after the two atomic bombs. AND even after their Divine Emperor told them to surrender. Japanese willing to defy the Emperor???

the blockade was effectively working as per leahy, those few idiots would have starved to death,no bombing was needed.and i am sure that leahy knew better then you.Even after 2 atomic bombs some Japanese military leaders refused to surrendered and attempted a coup. That tells us something.
