Who was the greatest mathematician of ancient and medieval India

Pakistanis are so gassed up from the first post that they have started crying rivers from the first page . I understand , its not their fault as they believe there was IVC then a big jungle in which savages lived and knew nothing till the Golden light and the shattering swords of Islam came .

A proto hindu caveman.

There is nothing called Proto Hindu Oxymoron . Maybe you are still living in stone age and you are riding camels in deserts of Arabia so you know nothing about the terms you throw in .

I do know a little about vedic maths, but more pertinently i know about some indians with their proto indian caveman dreams, so i have done everyone a favour by getting to the bottomline :)

Once a Oxymoron , Always a Oxymoron .

For a lot of those claims made on his wiki page it says "Citation needed" just some Indians editing wiki to either fabricate information or didn't provide the source or evidence for their claims.

Yeah and that's why you Indians leach off of Pakistan's ancient Indus valley history, when most of your Indian ethnic groups/people have no claim, linkage, or heritage to the Indus valley whatsoever.

Here's why Indians leach off of the IVC

another example of false history, indian govt. teaching indians.

says the Pakistani by the handle of BATMAN . Intelligence in your posts are rarer than Hen's Teeth . Without posting what is wrong you throw in sweeping generalization a trait of yours and you ilks .

As the map shows concentration of IVC was in Pakistan, and the IVC had area extending into a small part of Indian territory, however that doesn't mean your people had anything to do with the IVC.

These mathematicians has nothing to do with IVC. Indians particularly are good at maths and you can verify the paces from which they came, they are distributed all over India, you will find one in Afganistan Pakistan border.

I just quoted wiki, You can also check out other sources which are authentic. Indians are good at science and technology as is event from the IT revolution.

Bhaskaracharya A GREAT DISCOVERER (1114 -1183 Before Common Era)

I see something burning here.

It's a substantial part, whole of Gujarat for christ's sake. Dont be so over possessive :cheesy:. There's a reason it's called shared history.

It's not shared history you and your Ganghes civilization have nothing to do with the IVC. Just because IVC decided to expand their territory which happens a small part of it overlaps with the borders of modern day India doesn't mean you actually have any relations to the Indus Valley Civilization or any heritage, or linkage, or history of it. Roman Empire spread across the known world and even Egypt, does that mean people in Syria, Jordan, Egypt, North Africa, Spain, and elsewhere claim Roman empire history as their heritage? Absolutely not. Even Spain doesn't claim Al-Andalus history in spite of the fact Al-Andalus empire was in modern day Spain, but the Spanish know it wasn't their civilization. Just like you should know IVC isn't yours.

My friend Pak is divided in the name of religion not due to the territory....

That doesn't change anything related to the history, another failed argument, do you even think about your arguments before posting them? Do you realize how your argument doesn't even touch upon the basis of IVC history and it's rightful belonging to Pakistan. The history does not change no matter what.

Actually there is a theory that the Ganges civilization came into existence because the Indus people moved east as a result of the drying up/shifting of river systems (River Saraswati for eg.). You should watch Micheal Wood's documentary "The story of India" where this topic is covered. The analogy of the Roman empire that you provide is logically unsound 'coz Syria, Jordan etc etc. were conquered territories and obviously they did not share any traits with the Romans.
In this case studies have proven a genetic and cultural similarity b/w peoples inhabiting this region.

Then stop claiming Mughal Sultanate, Delhi sultanate along with Urdu language which don't belong to your land. :cheesy: Heck, you guys even claim Tipu Sultan, what Tipu Sultan of Mysore has to do with Pakistan.

We have our part of IVC with main sites like Dholavira, Lothal, Kalibangan and you are nobody to stop us claming IVC which was once called as Meluhha. @DESERT FIGHTER

Then trace your roots and feel proud, this topic has nothing to do with race or religion.

Mate Mohammed Bin Qasim lost in the "Battle of Rajasthan" and after that he was executed by the new Caliph.

Yes true indeed but Raja Dahir was facing Internal conflicts during Qasim invasion of Sindh. It is unfortunate for India that it has no powerful empire at that time to make sub continent powerful so that these invaders can be pushed back.

It is also unfortunate that India always has to suffer from invasions from Central Asia, instead we should have ventured into that part and sub dued the enemy, instead waiting for enemy to launch an invasion.Considering historically India has riches and man power to do that.

You are just jealous of our ancient history. That's why you are so eager to claim it. What part of India are you from?
