Conquest? Who other than China even have plans to do it in a reasonable amount of time. I know America can, but if they choose to do it it would be around the same time as our mission.

I can say it belong to any one country, but the fact of the matter is other than 2 there's no chance for the others realistically within the next 30 years at least.

That is not accurate. The reason other countries - and I am not even talking about India here who have a decent space program already running- are not doing it is because no one is doing it. They are not spending money here and instead on other things.

Once the colonization actually starts, every country on the planet with money to spare will join in or start collaborating with those countries who have active space programs, to get it done in under 10-15 years.
