Who Needs An Islamic State?

Many thanks to Munshi Saheb: because this article should be read at least 2 or 3 times - who needs an "Islamic" state? I don't know, I really can't imagine anyone who would - and what is an "islamic" state anyway? What is the purpose of such a state?

Don't know about others but Pakistan is having a lot of internal probelms (from poverty to terrorism) and with having some serious tensions with India I think islamic govt is the last thing they would pray for.
Please don't take my post as anti pakistani

Those who are favoring Islamic state also tell us that Islamic State according to which Sect ?? shia ? sunni ? barelvi ? deobandi ? etc etc ... the mullahs from these sects don't even sit together & can kill each other , declaring each other kafirs etc etc ...

Secular state is a way to go in which minorities are also protected & given freedom of religion & speech . Religion should be out of politics .

These are losers - people who cannot even put together two paragraphs of reasoned positions - So long as they have their "orders", they are good for nothing - if they are were real arbis, at least they could life off the state in Arabia, in Pakistan, regardless of money they may or may not have, they have been unable to negotiate social mobility -- So, these are net loss, they have neither vocational skill nor aptitude, nor social standing - their only hope then, is in political Islam-ism - Check out my last post on the "Defending militancy" and you will see the type of religiosity that these losers find appealing and Why.

minorities in theocratic states feel alien to the state. adopting a single state religion is a indirect way of telling minorities that you are second class citizens.

But suppose a Islamic state ruled by a Caliph gives protection and rights to all its citizens irrespective of religion.... and gives equal opportunity to everyone barring some military and high government posts .... what is wrong with that ?
