white nationalist protest in Virginia leaves 1 person dead

.
Some crazy stuff. Showing up with sticks and shields and basically weapons is just asking for trouble. I'm surprised the cops allowed the fighting between the protesters to go for so long before intervening. The way they were beating each other up was nuts.

Then the person in the Dodge Charger plowing into the crowd then backing up trying to get away was insane.

Whatever their white supremacy cause was, they had the right to protest just like people supporting Black Lives Matter came out to protest in large numbers, but to show up with weapons is stupid.

And despite what some think of what the statue of General Lee stood for, it was part of American history and he was a central figure to the Civil War. The confederate general and the person who signed the terms of surrender, so I don't really see an issue with keeping his statue up and the need to take it down isn't the right one, IMO.

Damn Trump, back again with the Fascism!

. . .
Trump is German and Germans are the most racist people in the world.

Racism is a German way of life. So the Germans are.
100% of Nazism in German DNA.
Do we need to attack Germany again??

The only advice I can give to disgusting racists is to shake it off

Wtf. I've met Germans in real life and they are one of the most respectful and industrious people in the world.

This is a crazy world we live in. Too often we become too comfortable, forgetting that peace is very fragile. May the deceased RIP.

People politicize a statue. Just leave the damn thing alone and no one will remember it. But these idiot Leftists have to racialize every little thing.

Now there is a backlash from the Whites against this double standard.

Btw, that car was able to plow into that group of people only because the entire police presence was busy cracking down on the Alt-Right demonstrators for a rally they already had the permit for. Law enforcement needs to get it's priorities straight.

Yep. The mayor should've been a lot more prepared with riot and local police. No-brainer that it was going to get violent and the way the fighting and clashing took place for a long time before the police got involved was unbelievable.

It would be one thing if it was a statue of John Wilkes Booth or some personality who's affiliation with US history is criminal or nefarious, that would be understandable. But Robert E. Lee who was quite the military general and involved in one of the most historical events of this country is completely different. New Orleans already removed his statue which I think was an absolute disgrace and a shame because the city decided it was a "public nuisance." Even removing the statue of Jefferson Davis was a sham. So what if he was the 'self proclaimed' or specially appointed president of the Confederate States? This was a major time in US history and it's not like these were statues of Hitler or Stalin. Priorities are messed up all around.

Car ploughing into a crowd of people and this doesn't make the global terror headlines?...

I guess the name on the drivers license wasn't Abdul.

No it is not.

That's madness. Modern Germany has done a lot against racism. They have accepted so many outsiders as their own and have harsh anti racism laws.

Please don't blame Germany for the idiocy of some trailer park trash in the US.

American citizens who have German ancestors.
In Germany there are 80 million of these people.

I totally agree with you. Considering we are both Northerners...even WE respect the Southern leaders. I think it's ridiculous having the statues removed. Next up will be removing stuff like portraits from museums.

Picture of British General Thomas Gage at Yale in Connecticut.
Gage was not exactly a well-liked guy.
