While offering help to Pakistan, Can China better Japan ???

Its nearly free money for 50 years, 0.1% is absolutely great. Only catch must be contract will be going to a japanese company. They might have marked up the project cost which needs to revised down.

There is no doubt that Japan would have been better partner. Japan is providing loan to india in such a lower interest rate and does not have expansionist policy. On the other hand China is planning to dump everything in our market which will not only kill our local industry but will make us dependent on them.It is not a good practice to put everything in one basked. We did the same mistake with US and we are doing it again. My father says we used to say the same thing which we say about China now a days and after 20 years we will say the same thing about china what we say about US now. Just my 2 cents.
You can go for Japan and see how long and how far they can help you. Indians mentality of waiting for being helped by others is poisonous, We help countries around the world with their infrastructures and energy sector industry so that they can depend on their own in the near future, we do that because we ourselves followed this pattern to today's success. China is famous for help without strings attached and the help very often lasts for decades ,check our track record in Pakistan and Africa, we helped African countries big time since when we were very poor ourselves, and in China people used to say if you want to see the best constructions that China can do, go to Africa to check them out.

I can give an elephant for free. Aik prakar se hathi muft main mil sakta hai.
But that elephant will eat only the food that my factory makes.
So, need Elephant?
So by your logic to run these Bullet Trains, India will be forced to import Power/Electricity from Japan :partay:

Don't You think someone need education ?

it's just business, nothing about "helping a friend"...japan treats india just like a first-time customer, a free sample for you to get a taste and get hooked, that's all. so that the japanese HSR package will become the default choice when india decides to extend the network someday in the future

More than that, supporting facilities and infrastructure could be worth more than the project itself. When China builds HSR very often they are package programs which involves in power, electricity and other support infrastructure.

Lets WAIT and see whether Japan use Indian manpower and Indian power to run these trains

Or send Japanese citizens/engineers to run these trains

Yes sir, people have been saying that since ages that India needs an educated leader.

Dont try to teach me. Look at the quality of those cheap junk products. They are not durable and are not quality products. We have to think of our own people and our industry. No need to be spokesman of China.Look at the deal Japan dd with India and then look at the deal our iron brother is signing with us.
Just this one deal and we all know why they do that, to ally with India to contain China, they did nothing for India in the past now they are wooing India for fear of China. You will see how this marriage of convenience work . Now you can still choose to ally with declining Japan but they already chose their side. Japan won't be a friend of Pakistan because of US and India, you better wake up to this fact.

When Modi became P.M, he gave Xi a red carpet welcome in his home state. Modi wanted chinese loan at low interest which Xi refused to provide india and then india turned towards japan.

You help other nations ? bullshit.

You trap weak nations in unbearable loan terms and when they find it difficult to repay, china sets its terms.

Few of your examples in Africa.

Africa is an easy target. You just need to put money in mouth of Mafia's and do watever you want to do.

Oh is that so? doing business involves a lot of risk-taking, maybe the japanese foresee a more profitable future with indian hsr project, while we dont

They have beaten you hands down, Now you have Pakistan instead of India as your customer :chilli:

I agree, this time we cant compete. that loan arrangement sounds almost like a charity.

for now we can be content with just selling smartphones to india
