I don't think some countries have very good IQ or PISA results. I have confidence in Vietnam.

And politically Singapore has a much stronger presence on the international stage.

Indonesia did well on math Olympiad but the high results were won by Chinese from Indonesia. Though it's hard to prove because they were forced to use Indonesian surname

An acquaintance of mine employs two maids in hk actually so that's how i got to know a thing or two. Indonesians make up a large proportion of the working maids there after the Pinoys. It was quite a revelation to me after i found out how she compared her own country with India. As for ASEAN education i believe S'pore can easily make it to the top list without question.

Do you have an Indonesian or Filipino maid?

Same in many countries, for example Malaysia.

Vietnam has the potential, her talent pool is there.
Not every country has a big talent pool though having a big population.

Vietnam is the smartest of the ASEAN countries. Vietnamese use Chinese surname and embrace Chinese culture. They are the only South East Asian country that have greater potential to be developed

Yes, bro.
I heard in HK, they use many maids from Indonesia, because their good reputation.
As Indonesian, I must say Thanks for your friend to use Maids from Indonesia.

In Indonesia, they are called Hero of Foreign Exhange. they also improve standard living of their family in here.

Okay, back to topic.
Beside Singapore, I heard Thailand have good education system too.
Many of my friends get education in Bangkok, Thailand.
They are good in Bussiness Administration and International Trade Study.

Vietnam has better chance i think.
We'll see from the PISA test results released at the end of this year.
Education is always the fundamental factor deciding a country's future.
Until now, Singapore is leading in education and researches.
Vietnam could be the next one considering their smart people.

EVERYONE PLS stick to the topic.

Thanks bro.
Please, post PISA Results in the end of this year.
I am waiting for that.

Do you have Indonesian average IQ for 2015 year bro.
Compare to other South East Asian countries?

Came on the OP of this thread had been flooded this far east section with god knows how much Chinese related news thread but with so much minimum response from other member. so he is deliberately creating this troll baiting thread just for his own fun. He must be intended to clashing Indonesian member with Vietnam ones

@Carlosa @Viet @Nilgiri

I like all SEA countries for different reasons. I have not been to Laos, Burma, Brunei and Vietnam....only met people from there.

Each other one had its different charms and particular culture. Notion of being a "leader" is a vague one, it needs a definition of something.

Having lived in Singapore I will also carry a bias for Singapore in many ways (but I know of Singapore problems too)...so I refrain from voting here I think.

I will say Indonesia is the leader in food for me hehe. Nasi goreng and satay...Indonesian style....and too many other things to mention. Indonesian people are also very welcoming to Indians I find for such a large country. I get along with them well.

When troll baiting threads are opened, it is our imperative to steer them into a positive enlightening thread....till a mod changes title/ closes or take some other action as needed.

It was done with great effect months earlier in a thread regarding India and its "lack of toilets".

Well I like them all, with Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand being my favourites.
