Besides its not conspiratorial saying that it is idiotic to assume that the COAS of an Army would be talking about a Top Secret Mission that none of the sister services & only 4 people within the army high command knew about sitting in another country on a line that could not only be intercepted with such but the contents of that conversation make it blatantly obvious what is being talked about !

Doesn't matter.

We already asked the Pakistani government to join us in a joint-attack on India in 1962.

Ayub Khan unfortunately wanted to side with India instead, he even offered a joint-defence proposal to India, against China.

But in the end, nothing changed. Geopolitical interests reign supreme.

One thing for which i admire Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for clearing the air between us and bringing the people of the two countries closer.

I believe the question was 'Which country is China's best/true friend ?' otherwise most in the developing world & a few in the developed world are on fairly good terms with China !
