Wow......this is some shocking level of cognitive dissonance. Dhakaiya Urdu is variant of bengaleeDo you know what dhakaiyite is? You can at best say they are Urdu speaker beside Biharis the Ahsan Manzil family. Not only them but also many who migrated from India used to speak Hindi/Urdu but gradually they adopted Bengali culture and tradition. Some of them speak a variant of Bengali that is called Dhakaiyya urdu.

But unlike Biharis all the original Dhakaiyyas now identify themselves as Bengalis. They speak Bengali and in family and locality speak Dhakaiya Urdu a Bengali influenced Urdu.
After living in Bengal for few centuries they are no longer identified with their old culture or race. Just for your info modern day Bengali people are mix of 38/39 different races so you will see different features of people in Bangladesh.

By the way, go on facebook and search up dhakaiya Urdu and tell them they are bengalees. When you get your response, come back here and tell us your results they they identify as bengalee. Bangladesh is a heteregenous country and Bangla was invented by the British. Purvi nagri script was appropriated from Assamese kamrupi script. Get lost with your cultural genocide bongo.
