Recently AK Abdul Momen, Bangladesh's Minister of Foreign Affairs, said, "I went to India and said Sheikh Hasina's continuation must be ensured."

So the next logical progression would be to become a state of India? Since India has so much influence and can shield Bangladesh from the wrath of Uncle Sam from any future consequences.

Economic development at the cost losing sovereignty has no value. Bangladesh has been explicitly open in their support for India and one can produce a volume of such brotherly statements from recent years.

It's one thing to "big up" India, it's another to explicitly ask India's help to keep SHW in power. Since we are categorizing anyone with a different opinion than yours into a "lot", I guess "you lot" need to understand that a limit has been crossed.

When China will wring the chicken neck , India really can't cut through Bangladesh via Rongpur division , as Bangladesh is called defense heaven! India only can launch a full scale attack from jesssore to rajshahi border ; in Khulna there is sundorbon , and the other three side of Bangladesh is Hill and thick forest , so it's impossible to launch an effective attack from north or east ( using Assam and Tripura , Mizoram etc etc) !

And now cut through Rangpur district! Look at the map of India of this region! You can't move a massive amount of troops ; hence you have to launch an all out attack , from Jessore border to rajshahi ,so it will extend to Rangpur as well!

I won't get into detail why BD will not be as effective in cutting down anything in case of a full blown war. India can easily cut through Bangladesh and maintain connection with North East.

But yes , if there is war between only Bangladesh and India , still India can't,as India won't withdraw forces from Pakistan border , there will be pressure from China ( as although in war between two countries China won't attack , still they can fund seperatists , and can use whole spy network against India; so troops moving is only a part of war !

And without proper spy back up by China , it can prevent India launch such mass attack!

As military is needed to counter seperatists as well!

So no withdrawal from Pakistan border , and no withdrawal from NE , India can't attack us with all of his forces!
