I am South Chinese, but our ancestor is always Huaxia.
No doubt with it. Baiyue people are all assimilated. South Chinese today are all Han Chinese/Huaxia.
Only idiot want to take back South China
Apparently you didn't get my point - That argument was made in response to you claiming that Viets were ancestors of chinese, when in fact if anything they originated from China.
What fact? Viet are not ancestors of han chinese, and ham chinese are not ancestors of Viet. They are much more different and completely have no relation. Viet only have the relation with baiyue, and Baiyue people are not Han Chinese
Yep, "Vietnam" is only existed in 19th Century From 10th-18th Century they are Đại Việt (Great Viet). From 1th-9th they are Giao Chỉ. In BCs, they are Lạc Việt (Luo yue?) and Âu Việt (Ou yue?).Vietnam doesn't exist back in those days. There was baiyue among lot of other tribes and states over areas that you claimed as all your own, but hardly anything can be said about their relations with viets other than they both have the word yue in them. Infact your country name means 'south of yue'.
In fact, Lạc Việt is a part of Baiyue tribes, they have a huge relation with other tribes, such as tattoo, teeth dyeing, squatting, rice farming, scripts ...
He means Huaxia if I'm not mistaken.'Han' doesn't exist in Qin Shui Huang's time. It is an identity adopted by people under Han dynasty. Han is not a single group of people but everyone that lived under the dynasty's control.
The preceeding dynasty of modern day vietnam only controled north of modern day vietnam. Control of the south was not established until Ming dynasty when the Chinese Ming emperor listed vietnam as places that is not desired to be conquested or uneconomical, besides countries like Japan. Free of threat from the north allowed vietnam's expansion southward and westward.
In other words you took other people's land as well. Should they demand it back?
Ya we will free for Champa if you give back Baiyue lands (we, last baiyue's ethnic, will recreate the mighty Baiyue), Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Monglia, Northern Korea ... Move back to the beginning of Chinese: Xia dynasty:
That part of history was freely available. Have to wonder how accurately your government portrays history though.
The Vietnamese gov and Vietnamese grand historian today never recognize Baiyue, Nam Viet ... or something like that. They always barbarize the nation.
They still didn't recognize that Vietnamese have musket in 16th-18th century.
