if you are talking about colonism we definetly know a country
which at one is being dominated economically by china
a country whose armed forces are fighting for money in return
a country which is being bombed by third country and is being paid for it
a country which is bashed all the time in return for the service they have done

Care to elaborate what colonial mindset you were referring to ? Because as I see it making economic and social progress does not count as colonialism ....having an independent foreign policy does not either . Neither does being hospitable to foreigners , be they from England , Aus , Japan or even from Pakistan itself .

And getting rid of secularism , implement backward social customs like the burkha , blasphemy laws , religious bigotry etc. is not a sign of progress, sorry -

Given two choices I would go with allowing people to were shorts and miniskirts , rather than watch some religious scholar issue a decree against watching television or women playing games - no offense .

i just wanted to prove my point liberalism is nothing abt being liberated, it about cheating the western values nothing else, woman are now being given the choice to wear skirts what ever in china, doesnt mean china follows liberalism, it follows communism, liberalism has a wide meaning, which means its liberal in politics, economics, a country which doesnt follow colonial directives is a liberal country which means only western countries can be said to be truely liberated
