Updated: Feb 10, 2018 | 17:37 IST | Source - Times Now Digital
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday reach Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which is home to a huge Indian diaspora. This will be his second visit after August 2015. As Abu Dhabi gears to welcome PM Modi today, a video of its Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is being re-circulated on the social media.

The video shows Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attending a Ram Katha programme led by Morari Bapu, the renowned exponent of the Ram Charit Manas. Bapu was in Abu Dhabi from September 17-25, 2016, for his 780th 'Ram Katha'.

When the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince was invited on stage to share his views, he began the speech with 'Jai Siya Ram', sending the crowd into a frenzy. The video had gone viral in 2016 too.

Watch the video:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will, on Sunday, lay the foundation stone for a new temple for the Hindu community living in the UAE. The temple will be first to be built in Abu Dhabi. At present, the UAE has only one Hindu temple and that is in Dubai. During the PM's previous trip in 2015, the UAE government had announced the allocation of 20,000 square metres of land in Abu Dhabi to build a temple.

PM Modi to inaugurate Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple; 20,000 sq m complex likely to be completed by 2020

Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) will manage the temple.

'Jai Siya Ram' - more power to Hinduism. It is nice to see UAE accepting it's brotherly love for India. The power of India is amazing. Even UAE crown prince bows to mighty India. And Pakistan is not jealous of Arabs licking Hindu balls. Honestly .

Ahghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fffffuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn Indians have stolen my boyfriend

No one is bowing any ones head in front of others..He is just showing respect to Hindus..If showing respect means, some one is bowing his head, then it is not correct interpretation.

I am crying. I am really upset my bigger, better, Arab Muslim brother sold me out to a Hindu. To Hindu's can you believe it? What next. They are going to build Hindu temples in Arabia?

Many believe that Hindu temples in Arabia are nothing new. They've been around for millennia.

A lot of theories doing the rounds here in India. On social media. Don't know whether it's Hindutva revisionism. Or if there is some truth to it.

It makes for interesting reading either way.

But I get the symbolism. It's strong. And goes way past the political or military considerations. Almost drab in comparion ....

Can't deny that.

Cheers, Doc

Indeed it is. However it does highlight the fact that UAE and GCC are heavily disposed to India for their own [understandable] reasons. Pakistan's can dream on about ummah love. But that is how it is.
No problem with that. Pakistan just needs to seek ties with nations that align with its interests. Enough of the fake bonhomie.

It's vice versa as well. A two way street.

We have none of the yummy black stuff God bestowed so abundantly to the Arabs and the Persians.

Both will continue to be friends.

Not necessarily for the same reasons though ...

And again. It's nothing new. Has been the same for millennia.

Nothing underlines more conclusively who the true inheritors of the Indian civilization are. Than by the continued link of people to people relations the world over. Unburdened by changing winds ....

Cheers, Doc
