Perceptions about pious Muslims? What of them? How?

Why do u think they call Islamic laws & practices medieval. It doesn't concern them does it. While a secular "muslims" will immediately get praises from them while people talking about ISLAM are labeled as terrorist, extremist etc. They do have an allergy towards this religion which is shown by their perception about muslims who doesn't subscribe to their secular beliefs and tries to practice ISLAM. Its a universal truth that applies to majority non-muslims.

He is anything but moron, he is intelligent,a good orator, knows the skills of argumentation, and has command over English language. You wont get many Indian wahabi like that.

And whats the BS about medieval laws. If a Hindu tries to promote medieval laws (and some do) he will be called as such too. Why do some Muslims expect others have to act stupid and dumb because they ''believe'' in something? After all, not everybody believes the outer limit of intelligence has to be some mumbo jumbo. Bcoz at times he do manipulate Hindu religious facts just to give islam an upper hand n neglect some ill practices by muslims like apostasy
i respect Islam as i respect every other religion but he is just there to convert people by some or the other way that all n his shows have actually nothing to do with solving people problems n rather confuses them at times

Even once an innocent muslim girl asked him that whether i m a muslim first or an Indian first?
His ans was since ur born to muslim parents ur muslim by birth n ur an Indian just bcoz of ur location of birth so ur muslim first an Indian bcoz of birth location

His ans even more confused that little girl he just deliberately ignored the context of the ques
Had he said that national interest n humanity comes first before any religion n we r Indian first then we can be muslim, hindu, sikh, etc.
I would have considered him a geniune person but he also one of those no. Game person muslim n nothing more....

Well what you are saying might be true, islamophobia does exist. So does hinduphobia (among non-hindus?)
May be you should try to change other's views (or simply dont bother, like me)

I dont understand why you demand respect from others, it will depend on others.
will you respect me if I say women should be burnt on funeral pyre of their husband ('sati').
For me it might sound perfectly natural (all opposing hindus are secular hindus, too eager to get praise from non-hindus)

answer will be muslim first. Zakir naik also thinks so. But he can't tell it clearly because of you people. if he says indian first, he is no more a true muslim! Anyway, in Quran it is written - ' i have sent prophet to every nation to call them towards one God' ! So he thinks there was some one in india too. He is entitled to his opinion. It doesn't make him fraud!

Well though I am not a big fan of him but regarding his saying Islam is best if you have doubt you need to prove it otherwise.

There are many debates with different religions and that shows the real fact which religion is best or better...

You can watch them... For your info there is one between Dr. Zakir Naik and Ravi Sankar... watch it...

Regarding nationality question what you will say for example if you migrate to USA and got the citizenship... then will you become American first or Indian first???

Religion and nationality are two different thing ... 2 plays important role in 2 different ways... If your faith under attack then you will support your faith and same also goes with country.

I went over to India-Defence to check if there were a lot of Bangladeshi posters in there. I looked at the most recent threads - no Bangladeshi flags. There were a few Pakistani flags in Indian-Defence.

I've been told by Indians that Bangladeshis are posting about India & Indians.



But I didn't see this on Indian-Defence AT ALL.

There are even threads being started here by Indians... So strange... I don't say this about all Indians but most of you do come here to provoke & fight. What happened to being peaceful?

let me put it this way most Indian have a very possitive view about BD before the come to this forum(except for illegal immigrant problem) but when they come on this forum see the reaction of BD members towards India, they see so much of hate, they see anger n frustration towards India, they see India being blamed for everything that goes wrong in their country n the whole thing changes

I can show u post of BD members bashing India n Indians without any reason some people even use abusive language against Indians

Still u'll see many Indian members posting good about BD n its people whenever they achieve something but sadly i hardly see BD members congratulating Indians for anything many of them rather bring in stupid points like they will start comparing our cars with second hand japanese cars n commenting on Indian slum n toilets....

The other reason is the sheer no. of Indian members persent this forum in comparision to BD members that u'll see a bigger response from them in terms of no. of posts on anti India posts

it is hard to answer, hindu culture tends to be fairly fluid and changes with time. it doesn't seem to be as rigid as many others.

people follow it according to their personal beliefs. for instance, some may choose to believe in hindu superstitions, some don't. but generally we don't get pandit brigades telling us we're not real hindus.
