Yeah bro, I agree it looks funny. But in the second vid where the Gurkha is doing the same thing, I am assured there is nothing comical about it. Gurkhas are highly respected as some of the toughest warriors in the world, they don't mess around.

Oh, No, of course not. My idea was that perhaps these soldiers (in the original video) took some time off, for some fun, and made this sort of caricature video. That's all. Not to belittle any military training or soldiers, whoever they are.

yeah they are certainly joking around. u can even see some soldiers laughing loudly and clapping.
Although this is a drill on how to stab enemy with bayonet and shouting is basically to make enemy nervous and panic which increases their reaction time.
But in this video soldiers are just having fun.

Yes, Bro. That's what my idea was. Since their style was such that instead of rendering the enemy panicky, it would make them choke with laughter; though the objective, of extended reaction time, may be achieved, by this way, as well.

Well as of now, the gora have the most powerful militaries in the world. They conquered almost half of the world. All the armies of the subcontinent were trained by the British and still carry their legacy.

times have changed and everything which gora did or does need not to be copied. i still find it funny how gora soldiers used to stand in long queues in front of their enemy like idiots as depicted in their movies. i dont know whether its true or not but apparently seems to be pathetic way of fighting a war. no tactics.
