Nikah is also sunnat so just do it as early as possible.

For women, studing in arts subjects is actually good. They don't have the burden to run home financially rather their husbands do.

Yeah I get it...my concern was based on my experiences here in US. I did my higher education here and sort of grew up here too. Here it's different bcuz generally both men and women work. I have a lot of gori friends who ended up majoring in communications, english, political science, etc. then they struggled to find a job.

...but u r right, it's different circumstances for the OP.

There is a huge generation gap. Right now I'm fully abreast with latest techs but and know more than most teenagers but who knows what happens in the next 13-15 yrs when I'll have teenage monkeys of my own (inshaAllah ). I think govt needs to launch an awareness program for parents. We can also help in our individual capacities.
