What's new

Whatever

My friend,

In that thread ... your arguements are valid and to the point.

The good Indians are what they are. No one can deny it!

However, Indus is a Pak River ... and very very important to Pakistan and Pakistani...

Indus Valley Civilisation is NOT Indian..because this name is given by the Imperial Britain to then Colony which contained this Sub-Continent...

The important river for these Indians is Ganga... so if you feel like naming these good Indians with their natural identification.. you are welcome to use Ganga-stani or Whatever..

It is a request if you, kindly, not use Indus-stan for their description.

Hopefully, you would respect our sentiment.

Thankyou,

Mangus

Beautifully explained.
We cannot allow them to claim our identity.
And, keep reminding our own less aware brothers and sisters about our own history and identity, because most have not been taught.

All of Pakistan has an active and historical link to the Indus, and all its associations.

In India they are still building a nation, no national language, no national dress, the South is totally different from the north, the West is alien to the East, the North Indians call the South Indians kalias (blacks).

Let them claim their history and identity, whilst we actively defend ours.

I'm having a hard time believing this lol
nah dude he is apparently a Pakistani and is good friends with bohemia - he is in most of his music video
like he is in this video (if you can spot him with his tatoo) and couple other videos too
and he was backing Amir Khan vs Cannelo- a Mexican would never commit this blasphemy
but it seems there was a childhood f up that made him into a weird cholo  :undecided:

@SQ8 my dear Pak, thankyou for putting effort in the Hyperbole thread.

Highly educational... since one has no technical input to give.. being in student mode has been valuable.

Should you have time... we do need to take educational aspect of the scenarios a bit further.

I do agree with @PanzerKiel ... we need a TotalWar Scenario... that should bring alot into perspective.

A War Scenario containing all Vectors of War... not the current HybridWar on Pakistan... which are barely surviving by the skin of our teeth...

And should you decide to put such a scenario forward.. kindly, do Cost the War in Gold... rate of that day and keep it fixed.

Without Quantification War seems to many as video game... Asset depreciation... costs of running operations... etc.

Also, qunatification of loss of life... e.g. the cost of training a soldier and officer... and when one dies... the cost increase... including impact on families.. orphans, widows... and so on.

For civilian loss of life and property... an area specific cost model should do.

Frankly, not very fond of ClockWork of the yesteryears... for which we have standing forces and assets... a scenario of DisruptiveWar might add more texture...depth as well.

We must also factor in the Value of the PatriotismVector... and calculate the current qoutient of it... given the ethnofacisim of many political parties and 'ruling families' ...

Naturally, the western border and our neighbours there... with their deep influence within our land...

True.. one is asking for alot of work and qualitative/quantitative analysis with varrying data sets.. but ... one knows... you like data and making it dance...

We need to baseline Our Comprehensive Strength... and then we have the right to talk... otherwise, we would be like the good Indians... won't we?

Looking forward to the start of another educational chapter.

Keep up...

It’s just a lot of time to put it together.. which frankly even as I enjoy doing it I don’t have considering the other things in life to relax and spend time on.

A lot of these I start but then abandon because I make them too complex for my own good and the inner perfectionist wont settle for a simple simulation.

Nationalism is indeed a cancer, wherever it exists, no matter the intended purposes, it turns into poison. The neighbour to the east has been a constant cancerous presence since it's creation in 1947. But it is an evil I am fairly comfortable with, the why is more detailed and perhaps for another day.

Patriotism is a far better value to own and spread, it is far more inclusive.

We all have our own experiences, I am an intensely private person, but I have my own set of experiences, they have been enriching. I met a Baloch separatist, who had lot of complaints, but when you speak with someone, and if they dislike you, the hate is clearly visible, if it is there. Not once did I feel hate from him, towards me and considering his stance, not towards Pakistan either. There was a lot of anger, but never hate, it actually surprised me, because our discussion was extremely open.

Around maybe 17 years ago, I met an MQM "worker" in Laos capital of Vientiane, he told me he was a businessmen, to which I replied "come on yaar" we both just laughed. He had his political complaints, but his love for his country just shined through, as I write this I actually have a smile on my face, that he is one of the most patriotic Pakistanis I have met in my life. We enjoyed couple of beers together in our first and last meeting.

I've come cross informed Pakistanis, angry Pakistanis, but never hateful towards their own nation. This is something I will touch upon in our other to be commenced discussion.
Pakistani nation already exists, Pakistaniate is so deeply engrained in the Pakistani soul, no one has realised how deep it is, except the foreigners, they know more then we do, but they have not been able to comprehend why that is, hence the constant struggle to find fault lines. The fault lines were closed long ago. So, other then just staying awake, there is nothing to worry about.

Our only crime, which you already have pointed out, we are extremely simplistic, and lack the capacity or the will to understand and explore anything beyond simple sound bites. Even if it means those sound bites hurt our own interests.

We take Pakistani out of Pakistan....

But Nothing can take Pakistan out of Pakistanis.

I'm still learning the proper use of this forum, I'll just post from the last message on that topic. I have the page saved and will reply on that page.
If you have detailed guidance, then I am happy to follow.
