A section from something I am reading now :
Marx’s most important and utopian idea of ‘the theory of alienation’. Marx argued that due to capitalism the labor gets alienated from himself. In capitalist society, capitalists in order to draw from profit make the labors work for long duration of time with low payment due to that reason the labor get alienated from himself. The alienation of self also means that the labor gets alienated from self-realization and self-externalization. Self-realization means the labor as a human being should know who he is and should have the freedom to develop his talent. Self-externalization means the labor should be observable to others. According to Marx in communist society every people will have enough material resources to pursue their own talents.

He shouldn't have killed the women who resisted. Letting them go would have put some sympathy for him in their heart.

Also, he should have been sophisticated about the women he desired.
Tf?? I was making a point out how much "progressive" communist dictatorships are in general.. Too much power in a few hands leads to this... And you are still talking as if he was some just some naughty kid whereas him being a scary monster.

I agree he was a monster. Like by the acts of killing the no-sayers and burying them in his wife's rose garden.

I was just saying logically what he should have done. Just some practical thing.

What about in so-called democracies ? Bill Clinton when he was president of "democratic" USA launched a bombing campaign against some small country ( I don't remember which ) just to take press and public attention from the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

And take the genocide of communists in Indonesia, done by Suharto-led military and police.

And do I need to speak about the Gujarat riots and your own Delhi riots, sparked and sustained by a few in power ?

First of all, it is whataboutery. Secondly, the main point was too much concentration of power which happens in extreme levels in dictatorships but mildly in democracies too - it's not a binary but rather a spectrum... Thridly, Bill Clinton was tried when the slightest evidence of CONSENSUAL SEX was made public but this monster did a million times more depravity when the public exactly knew what he was doing did, even with evidence he was out of anyone's reach... Suharto was a dictator, just an anti-communist one, never saw anyone calling him or his regime democratic. Again, India is not a perfect "democracy"[1] but still magnitudes better than those slaughtering millions and ethnic cleansing some dozens of ethnicities just because one mad-man pulled the trigger.

[1] India is classified a a flawed democracy, two full levels below a full democracy.
