There was a speech by him where he said that the rebellious Libyans ( in 2011 ), under the influence of Al Qaida and Western promises, were not satisfied with even 10 room houses.

Now that's a cat gone rogue. He will have to spend three months in Siberia where he will re-learn the teachings of Chairman Meow :

@django, what do you say ??

How bad it is that when so much of the world's population sees drought and food shortage, wedddings in Indian and Pakistan, and I presume in Bangladesh too, waste food and money on grand scale.

For example, the Indian business Subrato Roy spent 500+ crore rupees on the wedding of his two sons.

Regards the vid you posted, these "Zai pits" would depend on rain water which will then collect in the pits. To get back to Libya, that country under the guidance of Gaddafi, built the biggest irrigation project in the world - "The Great Man-made River project" which was a network of 4-meter diameter water pipelines spanning thousands of kilometers. The water came from under the Libyan desert. The UNO should sponsor building of such pipelines in sub-Saharan Africa, whether the source be the ocean or rivers or underground water.

Plus, new but common sense based agricultural techniques like Urban Farming, Vertical Farming and Drip Irrigation should be used.
