By giving a justification to mullah brigade to wage jihad against Pakistan? If another insurgency is what you desire then sure, go for it.

And no, we have nothing to gain by establishing relations with Israel. Except "thats like a good boy" pat on back from Western countries. Practically, we will loose alot.

Don't fight them, don't est relations with them either. Keep a safe distance.

What Arafat did vis-à-vis IOK does not mean that we have to reciprocate his "gesture" by recognizing Israel and justifying their occupation. (which in turn would weaken our principled stance on the status of Kashmir)
Recognizing Israel serves no purpose for Pakistan and as you rightfully pointed out there will be negative repercussions, thus why we have never recognized them to begin with.

There were some reports on covert cooperation between us and them during the American sanctions with regard to F-16 spare parts (dont remember exactly off the top of my head) which is fine, this is the realm of real politics and we should be open to all possibilities as long as they don't go against our basic principles or undermine our national interests.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if our secular and liberal elites already have personal ties or involvement with Israel or wealthy Zionist financiers.

When these "rabid uneducated mullah and his supporters" fight against the enemy of your army in Kashmir then they're freedom fighters...else they're presented as enemies of state.
Don't use them as expendables then.

Why use them as foreign policy tools in Kashmir and Afghanistan if they're so bad? Or maybe some here want to turn them against the state just for the sake of recognizing a country thousands of kilometers away. Try to figure who will benefit the most from an internal divide.
