@haviZsultan No offence mate but you know this lethal coctail of Islamism was injected into Pakistan by migrants from India post 1947. Religion was used to artifice varied ethnic groups - this cynical attempt to use religion to connect with the locals has had a terrible effects as can be seen. Almost all religious groups were predominantly supported by migrant groups from India right upto late 1970s by which time the infection had taken root inside Pakistan.
Bizzarely the original Islamists have turned to secular politics with the rise of mQM. Even now if you remove religion out of the equation what are you left with? Rest of the population can fall back on their Pashtun, Punjabi, Sindhi heritage but what about those from India? They just become 'Indians'.
I disagree with lot of what you say but then I also find convergence on many things you advocate. That is life. We can't agree with everybody all the time. I can't even agree with myself half of the time - from what I might have said yesterday. However I find you agreeable because of your very refined temperament and of course because you paddle against the mullahs - we need every secularist there is, as it is there is precious few of us. When I get more time I will address some of the points you made. All the best. The thread
Can somebody please give me exact translation here - much appreciate it. Thanks

Aaaaa gulab jamin it was one of my most favorite mithai, now I have cut short on sweets yar, subah b dalia khany wali awam may shamil ho gya ho
Mai bhi. But now last couple of months at least, I have started cycling. Building up from intitial 15 km to now doing loops of 37-44 kms every morning. Uske baad bina koi guilt shaan se aaloo parathe aur bread pattice chepta hun. LOL
I started running ..... but its an on and off thing yar, no consistency. What's better cycling or running? Paratha khay to zamana ho gya hay yar, green tea permanent diet ka hisa ban gai hy. Aur jab say sala dalia shuru kia hay pait hay kay theak honay ka nam he nai lay ra (may be its because I have gone for pure fresh milk).
Yaar anything healthy is not tasty. Golden rule of life. And everything tasty (not just food ...) is extremely unhealthy. I have normal oats. Quaker oats. In milk. Usmein there are two types. Blue tin and golden yellow tin. I have the unrefined one. No stomach problems. But huge hunger for lunch. Sometimes in desperation I have eggs. I love eggs. I have zero cholesterol issues. Don't know what the problem is. Running is great if you are not on the heavy side and have good knees. I am negative for both (courtesy a bad accident in college days). I love swimming. And I love cycling. Aur aaj kal these new puppy fads. There is this app thingy called Strava which has me hooked. I am totally into it. And for a technology dinosaur I have taken to it like a duck to water. I am called Strava puppy in my group. Socho.
. I was athletic yar pretty much into body building, had nice built at peak of my jawani (ab to khair building reh gai hay body gaib ho gai hy), so this little tond makes me uncomfortable. Plus I am a pharia (you know people from hilly area) walking, climbing, hiking is all I did throughout my primary school days. Ub I think its time to prepare for Burhapa.
