@Pumba

So indirectly libya too was a part of capitalism .

how??

libyan jamahiriya cannot be blamed because money system exists and until money system is abolished, the next best and only alternative is having socialist economics... simple truth, yes??

how can libyan jamahiriya be blamed when most things there were either free or subsidized or low-costing?? and that was so because of socialism that gaddafi and his comrades brought through the 1969 revolution.

ranjeet was simply deflecting from the simple questions made in my first and long post in that thread.

since my joining pdf i have been calling for abolishing of money system... you and many others too must take up that call. :)

Anyway i would like to hear from u how u want to replicate the same socialism here in India with over a billion population and no oil money.

this is a point i have replied to many a time. :)

in short :

1. what does population number have to do with not adopting socialism??

2. what about the self-promoted tag 'third largest economy in the world'?? at present, the government and the unnecessarily large military is spending 65,000 crores ( nine billion dollars ) on just a single purchase - of western fighter planes... money wasted... imagine what that money could have been instead diverted to... so many problems in india and the indian military and its establishment supporters wants to kill foreigners?? for what?? was some pakistani the cause of farmer gajendra singh's suicide?? and this is a point present in my first post in that thread.

How affordable this sports car is ? How do u plan to provide it to 1.2 billion indians under ur proposed socialist regime ?

if you note in that thread itself i have spoken against personal transport vehicles and in favor of public transport... i mentioned that car driven by sea-water/salt-water in context of the technology used to propel the car.

if you read the original article you will see the designers pointing to sea-going ships, aeroplanes and i think trains all being powered by this technology... but why stop there... within a harmonious socialist society, all transportation and production can be powered by the technology and we can look at a decentralized electric system for houses where neighborhood-level electric generation is achieved with sea water and bio-fuel.

also, all this hullabaloo about electric cars ( battery storage ) is silly and unthoughtful because they are concentrating on personal transport which solves nothing really.

there is a famous saying by enrique penalosa[1], a former mayor of bogota city ( the capital of columbia ) and 'green party' candidate in the 2014 presidential elections there :

"An advanced city is not a place where the poor move about in cars, rather it's where even the rich use public transportation"

look at more of his sensible statements, and my point to add to his is that "smart cities" are not where computers make vehicle traffic decisions... real 'smart cities' are where ecological science merges with socialism, including having public transport only, with of course private operators having fleets of delivery vans and construction lorries.

See man if u want to play same old broken record then dont bother answering me. Everyone knows about the wrongs and ills in our country. I want u to tell me the solution and solutions only for these issues.

@jamahir u are exactly like Mr. HASSAN NISAR from the other side of the border. Both sound interesting in the begining but eventually end up boring ur counterparts since both of u are highly repeative with no actual substance in your arguments.

you want solutions for what issues?? :)

i have written specifically in many a thread how precisely a new political system should be in india... i have written about a progressive 'universal civil code' to be part of a new socialist social order... i have written about how should cities be arranged, including in the post you quoted... i have written about what specific structures/facilities should be free... i have written a bit about how to re-arrange the education system so that it really educates and produces contributors to humanity.

and "broken record"?? speaking about the libyan achievement is boring to you?? something that india has not achieved in 68 years??

lastly, i point to you not replying to me about your own earlier question about the salt water car.

Ok let me say this frist , i am not an economist so my questions are very basic.
1) you say almost everything was either free or subsidised in libya. Fair enough. But u must not forget that 95% of libyan economy was based on hydrocabons and mining industry. But in india we dont have that privilage of oil based economy. so how do u propose things to be free or sunsidised ? What will be government's source of income to give freebies or subsidies ?
2) you say what population has to do with all this. Again since i am no economist but i think higher population means higher requirement of resources. U can not give similar level of facilities to different size of population with similar funds.
3) third largest economy by PPP also has second also has 2nd largest population so my question again is the same as above.
4) if no weapon how do u suggest we should protect ourselves in situations like mumbai attack for example. ?

@Nilgiri brother plz go through my questions and do tell me if they are legit or stupid. :D

I have argued with this guy jamahir repeatedly using same/similar points...you are wasting your time if you are trying to convince him on anything.

The problem with ultra- leftists like him is they do not fundamentally understand some realities:

They have been butthurt ever since USSR collapsed and their remaining outright refuges are getting destroyed financially one by one as the money runs out (look at Cuba and Venezuela).

Unfortunately in India they will remain for a very long time sucking on the economic margins created by others.

So, my questions are valid. Thank u.

@jamahir i am waiting for ur response.

@Armstrong

Here I am at last, available to chat. I'm sorry to have delayed this occasion
to pick up on your latest. I had said to you that I'd be by here yesterday alas ...
a small incident IRL had me too irritated to do so then. I try to keep quiet
when in a foul mood so as to spread the burden and so waited until now.

How is life for you? Are your parents and friends all doing OK? Did you find
that generous soulmate you yearn for? ;) Any good news to share so that
partaking in your happiness can raise our spirits?

I sure hope so! Read you soon, Tay.
