Thanks, but I am not as active as many other forum members these days, & yeah, I guess I should be posting more outside the "Members Club".

My other areas of interest as far as this forum is concerned are history, military history, ancient war strategies, rulers, civilizations, etc.

Btw to somebody who is very dilettante like me your post makes complete sense.The original article that i had posted sounded gobbledygook.
Btw i heard note 4 and iphone 6 both would be launched in UAE at the same time,october,which makes me wonder why is note 4's arrival delayed by a month??

Really, the iPhone 6 will launch in the UAE by October? Over here it's launching on the 27th of September & that's surprisingly early compared to previous releases. It doesn't really matter though because compared to Saudi Arabia, the UAE has a better variety of technology related products. Yeah, the Note 4 will be arriving here by October too, & I have no idea why it's coming a little late.

I've almost rounded off on iphone 6+ and its all because of the gyaan you gave me about it.

Frankly I was waiting for an iphone with a bigger screen.And i heard it has the most user friendly screen ever.Its reachability feature makes the entire screen slide down to the lower half of the screen in one go.
And another feature is handoff ,which means i can start writing on phone and finish the message on ipad and send it.Now thats interesting!!
I can even answer a call from ipad.I might use that feature often.
I am just worried about its battery life.They've not declared much about it.

All I remember saying was that it lacks some really unique phablet features, especially in comparison to the Note 4.

Yeah, those are good features, but to be honest some elements of these features already exist on Android devices. The Note 4 has one handed usability & you can still carry on typing your notes on other devices by using applications like Evernote. That's not to deny how impressive iOS's & OS X Yosemite's integration is getting either because Apple's devices really do work well with each other, especially considering the call sharing feature. I think the one feature they really need to add is to allow file sharing via the drag & drop method.

The iPhone 6's battery life is equal to the 5S so that's pretty bad in my opinion. The iPhone 6 Plus is a lot better & from what I hear, it should last a day significantly easily.

By the way, do you have to deal with choosing between "FaceTime" & "without FaceTime" models in the UAE? We pretty much always have to deal with that in Saudi Arabia & it's annoying as hell.
