What's new

What ya eating?

Now that is excellent!!

In the beginning I thought why no chicken but I am glad that I was wrong.

It was one of the ultimate wedding beef fiesta for me.

I did not want to stop eating but obviously had to as I wanted to make space for the halwa as well.

I would have been glad to be at your cousin's wedding. The pilau looks good [with carrots?] although I would have poured a yoghurt with onions on the side. Mixed with chunks of tender meat, pour some beef shorwa on the side. And Mmmmm !

Not carrots (would have liked it though) but raisins and a little bit of zarda mixed in the beef pulao.

The only reason that I look forward to weddings in KPK.

There was a time when I did not like beef pulao (preferred bbq only) but the weddings in last few years have made it clear to me that i was missing out on a lot of different flavors.

I remembered to take a pic.

Baked chicken drumsticks with yellow rice and some chopped tomato, jalapeno, onion with lime juice.

There is also half a sliced avocado under the yellow rice.
