What ya eating?

This is a signature entree in Salt n Pepper one of Lahore's oldest and popular restaurants. Stuffed chicken breast with a tangy pineapple sauce. Though Salt n Pepper's is the original thing, I find this copy cat from another restaurant group (Gourmet Restaurant and Gourmet Grills) to be better. Picked this up on my way home after work yesterday.
Golden fried chicken breast stuffed with herb butter, cheddar & mozzarella cheese in a pocket near the wing joint which just oozes out when cut and makes a real kicker of a sauce when it combines with the pineapple sauce. I could have this every week but the calorie count is probably around 2k calories in this so this is only a once in 7-8 weeks or more indulgence.

good weather and lit up wood fire and got a few chickens going - i made tandoori masala; yogurt, garlic, ginger. left it to marinade 12hrs. Then impala mince + sheep fat skewers kebabs - had a bit of marinate left and put on it. came pretty good.

Around 3kg of kebabs + 3 chickens.

Friends, finally took delivery of 8bags of 50kg each - 400kg load of new brand that the supplier had of Basmati rice from Pak.

It just said 'Dana - super kernel' looks like no name brand. I took a chance; i am pleasantly surprised; excellent texture and taste. It will go down well after 2 years of storage to mature further.

Any input from people who have tried it.

This will be too humble compared to what others are posting but regularly I have been having beef ( bone ) soup along with bread loaves. The beef is leftover from Bakrid.

Nice, greasy.

Cousin's village wedding.

Beef pulao with tender beef.

Beef shorwa/stew with tender beef and almost melted bone marrow.

Another beef shorwa/stew with spices and gram lentils.

Overall a hearty meal with decent dose of cholesterol.

I would have been glad to be at your cousin's wedding. The pilau looks good [with carrots?] although I would have poured a yoghurt with onions on the side. Mixed with chunks of tender meat, pour some beef shorwa on the side. And Mmmmm !
