Maybe Iran already has a few nukes but has not tested it. No one exactly knows the stage of Iranian nuclear program but it is 2 decades old.
They can hide stuff in a cave under a granite mountain for free but it is gonna cost millions of $ to ruin that granite cave.
I think Iran can be contained to 5% enrichment in an economic deal with US. So I am not worried about it.

They can hide stuff in a cave under a granite mountain for free but it is gonna cost millions of $ to ruin that granite cave.

One thing is certain. Neither U.S, nor Israel nor the neighborhood can tolerate nuclear Iran. If Israel gets really desperate they will go for the nuclear option and nuke Tehran. That of course if an invasion fails, which is very unlikely.

I prefer an economic deal that restricts Iranian enrichment compared to destroying 10% of Iranian centers and then waiting to find some more. I don't want to be surprised by 5 Iranian nuke tests in a row.
The world was shocked in 1998 after Pakistan's consecutive nuke test, meaning that we have tens of nuke weapons. They believed that Pakistan has years to make one single nuke and even blamed China for it but all the estimations of Eastern and Western bloc for Pakistan was wrong. If they killed Iranian nuclear scientists, they killed Pakistani politicians over the nuclear program.
