What will South Asia look like in 100 years?

In 100 years, it will be only one flag flying and one country which will be the only power Pakistan, Pakistan and Islamic Pakistan in whole South Asia.:pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

Only if the rest of the world decides to leave Earth and occupy Mars.

If we do not do anything to address the issue of climate change, it will be parched and possibly ravaged by wars over water resources.

Although there is no chance I will be alive after 100 years but from the thing that are going, India will definitely be the biggest economy both in nominal and PPP with largest population. The military forces will be equally impressive, lots of area will be no go areas in India due to muslims and will be governed by mostly force. India would have become a space faring nation and most probably will have a permanent manned presence in Mars in collaboration with western countries. The borders with pakistan and bangladesh would be re enforced with robotic and autonomous military tech. and will provide very little chance of any trespassing from both countries. Indian missile shield will be one of the most advanced in planet.
pakistan would have become unstable, bangladesh will be given tech. and food assistance so less illegals try to cross over to India.
Indian relations with china will be more or less same with Indians and chinese forces in constant guard in himalayas.

south asia will look like mars. barren land with few humans living like tarzans. nuclear war will destroy the region by that time. one thing is certain. maps of the world have always been changing and they will keep on changing. till 70 yrs ago sub continent was part of british empire and now there are three countries.

Global Warming will reshape South Asia in ways that is difficult to imagine at present. South Asian countries would have to adapt or risk destruction.

In the context of Pakistan:-

1. There is a need to create a number of smart cities because large traditional cities such as Lahore and Karachi might become inhospitable due to massive amounts of pollution, water crisis and pressures of global warming.

2. Eco-friendly industrial practices are increasingly important.

3. Water consumption intensive industrial practices such as 'coal power plants' should be discarded.

4. New dams should be constructed to store large quantities of water.

5. Underground electricity supply system is a must.

Huge populations would turn into a liability at some point if new industries are not created and water crisis is not effectively managed.

IMO, smart societies with reasonable population size would be in the best position to make past 22nd century largely intact. Majority of South Asian countries are not up to the task unfortunately.

Allah Almighty knows best.
